An early Christmas present for you from Fuji. One of the all time great Twilight Zone episodes and a Christmas one to boot. Featuring an outstanding performance from the legendary Art Carney, this is one you shouldn't miss and hey, its not that long, so please try and watch it and post your thoughts.

That's funny, I was just going to bump this. I'll probably watch it tomorrow at some point, always loved this episode as a kid.

I was never into Twilight Zone as a kid, teen or adult. I do remember a newer one a few years ago that had Forest Whitaker narrating and Katherine Heigl starring in it. It was where she went back to kill baby Hitler and she killed herself along with him but the twist was they stole a baby from a vagrant woman and he became the Hitler that we know. It was interesting.

It used to freak me out when I was a kid but I quickly came to appreciate the subtle art of storytelling that made Serling so great. As an adult, I find myself watching it more than I ever have before. It's cool to see the future stars like young William Shatner or Robert Redford, and some of the stories are really well told considering they only have a half hour to do so.

I will give it that, they told stories very, very well in a short amount of time that really drove the point home.

Plus you have to love the social commentary disguised as sci-fi thing. Star Trek was always really good for that as well.

So I just finished watching it. It was interesting. I don't know what else to say other than that. I am like that with these, I don't have much of a comment on them because I guess I just don't understand the storytelling all that well. It could be because of the hour and I am tired too. It was a good show and I did enjoy it. I think I will have to watch it again.
