I don't know much about Gunn, is he actually really wealthy or something? If Scott offered $10 million and was rejected... how much more is the company worth now...

I'm more confused how Scott could even offer $10m, that seems like a lot from a guy I assume isn't just insanely wealthy. If he could offer $10m, I'd imagine WSG could muster a lot more. He has a lot of ventures beyond music that I'm sure creates some good income for him. All things considered though, him buying TNA does seem far-fetched and probably more wishful thinking than anything. His Fourth Rope promotion has some cool shows though.

Scott had backers, it wasn't like he just had it in the bank as a stash lol. He would have taken on debt if approved. But either way yeah I would imagine WSG could outbid him, but Anthem also just doesn't seem to want to sell anyway

If I recall Scott is incredibly successful outside of wrestling.

Sure, I guess it still felt like a high number for Scott, but then I forget $10m is not as much these days as like 20 years ago. :lol That being said, I was also of course picturing WSG having backers or partners or whatever in a situation where he actually tried to buy TNA. I just would also then assume he'd have even higher level connections/know more extremely wealthy people than Scott as well.

Yeah they have construction, I remember he had some big project (not wrestling) starting last year or something in Windsor

First day of TNA on AMC was a bad show all together. That's me being nice about it. Second show this week was a much better show. More wrestling action in which I love seeing. Nice to see Daria aka Sonya and Elayna Black in TNA. Good direction. If Elayna wrestled the way she did in the indies before she went on break then she will fit in just fine. Santino is asking to be stabbed in the back by Ariana again. Moose getting stabbed in the back was a shock. I didn't see that one coming.

The torches are reporting that impact just did 201,000.

Not only is that a respectable number, but it’s increased from their debut. It’ll be a marathon not a sprint, but we’ll get there.

Not bad for a network not really known for wrestling

Not only is that a respectable number, but it’s increased from their debut. It’ll be a marathon not a sprint, but we’ll get there.

Sadly it seems this and the huge Collision jump may be bc Nielson changed their methodology again which should help live sports. But the logic being that it's also a more accurate number now. Not sure what they actually changed about it other than everyone saying it's going to make live sports ratings higher most likely, and wrestling (live or taped) is usually included in that.

But regardless, it and all their numbers have been good so far, it's just normally I'd have rated the increase from the debut as even more of a positive if not for this change bc that almost never happens. I knew something was fishy about that collision number when I saw it yesterday, I said in that thread it might just be a glitch lol
