JR recently revealed that Tiger Ali Singh was the worst signing decision he made, and you can't argue with that. I mostly made this thread to see if anyone on this Earth actually liked him. Is it even possible?

I feel like Tiger Ali Singh was way more interesting than most people give him credit for. Maybe not a main event guy, but still a standout character. Would’ve been cool to see him develop more.

The thing I don't get about him was that he was basically a combo of two characters out of their time. You've got the Ted DiBiase type of rich asshole, and then you've got the "evil because brown" factor which was outdated even then. What's salvageable about that

I'm not the biggest Tiger Ali Singh historian but was he really "evil because brown" because it seemed like he was just a regular evil rich asshole that they also played up the brownness of, which feels slightly different to me.
