The Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy refers to a series of movies directed by Edgar Wright, written by Wright and Simon Pegg and starring Pegg and Nick Frost.
The first film in this series was Shaun of the Dead which is a romantic comedy set in a zombie invasion. The second film was Hot Fuzz which is a buddy cop action film. Both films were brilliant, they are so funny to watch and are really well made. I have both of DVD and they have great repeat value.
Ever since Hot Fuzz was released in 2007 there has been talk of the third movie in the Cornetto trilogy but it has been on hold for a bit mainly due to the success of all three main contributors to this series. The working title is The World's End and there is talk that a draft script is out there and fingers crossed they will film it next year.
