The Pope Has Finally Returned

D'Angleo Dinero finally made his return this previous Impact. He gave a great promo and the fans ate it up. He even got teary eyed with the reception he got. He even made it known that he hasn't forgotten what Anderson (who is now a face) did to him. That's one thing I'm really looking forward to. But Anderson has to be a heel. It's pretty much a no brainer that he's going to lose to Kurt now at the ppv after Kurt said he'll retire if he loses. But after that, I'm hoping that reaction he got during his promo gets him back in the good hands of management and he gets pushed again.

Now that Dinero is back, what are you wanting to see happen?

I liked the promo he gave last week, hard not to, but I'm not sure I really get him at all. The gimmick itself is great, and the entrance etc. But overall does he really cut the good of promos? The persona seems to be ballin excess, and he just doesn't seem confident to that level. Or slick enough, really.

Also is this guy that great a wrestler? I mean it may be the best use of elijah burke possible, but this gimmick is so good I would have been tempted to give it to someone like jay lethal.

First time I watched Impact in a very long time and I enjoyed his promo, the crowd love the guy and I can see why.

Now that he's back I'd like to see him have a MOTN with Angle which I think will happen at the next PPV then go on to feud with Anderson if he must. I don't know what they're gonna do with Anderson, he's had so many heel/face turns, he'll have to go heel again because turning pope would be terrible. Once that's over I'd like to see him do what Angle's doing and go through the ranks in the top 10 and get an eventual title shot as he said he wants to do. That's going to be tough with Angle doing that exact thing right now though. Anyway its good to see him back.

While I agree Lethal really needs a gimmick or something right now, I really don't think he could pull off The Pope gimmick. Would be to hard to take him serious.
