The Official 2025 College Football Regular Season Discussion Thread

As I waited for the prime time games to start, I began to think something: I don't send many compliments the NFL's way, but when they say a game starts at noon, (1 o clock, for those of you on the east coast and think the schedule revolves around you) it freaking starts at noon. After three hours of overall pregame in the morning (I don't watch it, but I know darn well that it's there), I don't need to see both teams' bands and their entrances. Just play the game. I kept switching from the ACC to the Big 10 games just hoping somebody would kick off.

Indiana's quarterback is down, we'll see if he's out for long.

The Big Ten Championship Game's in between the Top 2 teams in the country, Indiana and Ohio State. Either way, both teams has punched their ticket to the College Football Playoff, but I'm interested to see how these teams play.

I think the team that wins the Big Ten Championship game between Fernando Mendoza and Julian Sayin, wins the Heisman.

Indiana scores first with a field goal after Sayin got picked off. 3-0.

Duke scores a field goal. This puts them up 20-10 with just over 5 minutes to go. The game isn’t out of reach, but Virginia will have to stretch to take this one.

Indiana has pulled off the upset and secured the #1 seed in the playoffs.
Duke has the ball on 2nd down at the two minute timeout with a seven point lead.

With 22 seconds to go, Virginia has tied the game up. It’s 20-20 and Duke has 2 timeouts as they prepare to receive the ball. We’ll likely have overtime in Charlotte.

I didn’t know this was an option, but Virginia will start their overtime possession from the 40 due to a roughing the passer call. This was on the 4th and goal play in which Duke scored.

On first and 10 from the 40, Virginia there an interception, making them 3-1 in overtime games on the year. Duke, despite their 8-5 record, has won the ACC.

I've watched the game and it was a helluva game if you're a fan of defense. I'm so happy that Indiana won the game.
