The Hackett firing isn't surprising and sadly Russell Wilson may not have much magic left. Although I think that he has been playing injured. The team just really never played well consistently on offense and then the injuries happened. Well, the injuries started happening before the regular season got started because they have been without Tim Patrick this whole time. Then Williams, Darby, Hamler and others. Really had hoped that this would be a great year for the team and that Hackett would be a better HC than the Fangio and Joseph but sadly no. Then this last game really was what put a fork in him, both the performance on and off the field.
One of the reasons why I like the Broncos is that they aren't known for being completely "bottom of the barrel" as a team and IF that happens they make changes instead of allowing the HC and other coaches to stick around longer than they should.
