Who will be the first?

This is difficult to say. All of these schools seemingly are the type of school that will be a middle of the conference team until they either get a perfect storm of talent/coaching like Cincy a couple years ago, or get a generational talent.

I don't think any of them have that so it's a crapshoot if you ask me. I would say maybe Duke will throw a ton of NIL money at people but then the academics may hinder that a bit. Maybe Rutgers gets New York money and goes NIL crazy and can land someone.

Also you have to take into account the conference. Will a team like Vandy get to #1 in the SEC that has a lot of teams not in the South East)? Highly unlikely as they'll end up playing a lot of perrenial elite teams. Teams in the B One G conference (that has nothing to claim 10 anymore) will have the same problem too.

I'm gonna say OK State or Baylor as they're Big 12 (that has nothing to claim 12 anymore) and they can top the conference easier.

I agree with him. It's unacceptable and embarrassing to hear how some of the Bama players reacted after losing to Michigan in the Rose Bowl. They acted like sore losers instead of acting in a classy way, the way that Saban taught his former players in the past. Some of them just want their NILs or to transfer somewhere else instead of focusing on the game. That's what it's all about nowadays because they feel "entitled." Hell, I said it before and I'll be happy to say it again.

everything you said is true, but I completely disagree about the sadly part.

The coaches care only about the money, same for the school. So why shouldn't the players?
