I imagine both would be placed in the Western Division, which means they'd end up rivals with Minnesota, Iowa, Purdue, and Northwestern.

But that's two more teams in the Big 10, and probably would create uneven divisions, so how exactly would that work?

This move is huge for the Big Ten and a downer for the PAC-12. Imagine the yearly matchups that will happen when both USC and UCLA join different division. IMO, USC should be in the West Division because it looks like a weaker division compared to the East, in football, and I think it'll give the division a boost to compete.

Put some respect on Penn State, bro. They have won 9 national championships since 2011. I'm a Michigan fan (this years runner up) and I give the Lions their props. A team from the Big 10 has won the title every year since 2007 (Minnesota's last). Even more impressive the runner up has also been from the Big 10 with the exception Of three or four years during that time.

They're doing what Iowa did In the 1990s and OK ST in the 1980s.

Fun fact, WWF and WCW undercarriage talent Man Mountain Rock / Lochness was on one of those OK ST national Championship teams. Wasn't a singles champ like Angle, Terkay (sp) and Lesnar, but was still a recognized national champion through the team.
