Actor Steven Seagal and a sheriff's office are being sued over a 2011 arrest that a Phoenix man says was staged for a reality TV show.
Jesus Llovera says Seagal and Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies unlawfully raided his home because they thought Llovera was raising fighting roosters.
Llovera says the birds on his property were for show and not for fighting.

The civil suit asks for a jury to determine unspecified monetary damages.

The Arizona Republic reports the Sheriff's Office was participating in the creation of a reality show, Steven Seagal: Lawman, that followed Seagal's exploits as a deputised officer.

The Sheriff's Office insists in court documents that the use of a tank, a bomb robot and 40 deputies was part of its normal course of duties.

I still find it hilarious that he is working as a Sheriff. Most reality shows stage things so it wouldn't surprise me if this is the case with this. If they did use a tank, a bomb robot and 40 deputies for this bust then I simply have to find a video of it. Little bit over the top for some fighting roosters, not like they were chasing a serial killer, busting a drug lab or raiding a gang house.

Seagal snorted all the coke and just left out some fried chicken to get the press off his ass.

I started laughing when I saw a commercial for this show and then I laughed even harder when I heard Butterbean also now has a cop show.

These guys sure are looking for anything to grasp on to. Probably are both entertaining shows for the wrong reasons.
