I'm shocked no one is talking about this yet. I'm just starting to watch episode 1.

I've seen a lot of people online talking about it and it seems like a cool concept plus there's been some great entertainment from South Korea thr last few years. I might check it out at some point lol we'll see

Same boat. It seems to be one of those shows that has taken the internet by storm. I looked up the plot and it's like kid's games gone deadly or something like that? Desperate people trying to get cash. Sounds dope as hell.

Yeah, you're invited to play popular kids games for a big cash prize but then they quickly find out if you lose, you die lol

I'm starting this tonight. I've exhausted pretty much all of the Horror selection on Netflix at least what I'm interested in. Might as well give the show a chance. Saves me having to look around for things to watch every night. The plot kinda has elements of the show 3% which I enjoyed and had people doing these tests to try to get out of poverty and in to a richer life style.

With a fair amount of twist and turns.

That show had a killer first season and then dropped off, plenty of intrigue.

One of my friends who isn't someone I think would be an "elitist" about these things did recommend that the Korean language version is better than the English dub, and she mostly watches dubbed anime bc she says it's not enough of a difference for most shows lol

Yea, I try to watch foreign shows in their original language. It's better for emotion purposes. I usually have subtitles on anyways with english language as I sometimes find characters hard to hear in certain shows.

Same really, I need a ringing endorsement that the dub is just as good bc I don't trust silly Americans to translate the intricacies of other cultures

This is near unwatchable in English. Watch it in Korean though and it's amazing. Very fun show.

Legit sad as fuck though at times
