WWE SmackDown

* Vickie Guerrero kicked off this week's SmackDown. She introduces Randy Orton. Orton cuts a promo. He says he didn't know Triple H was going to screw Daniel Bryan and didn't need anyone's help. Daniel Bryan comes out and puts over John cena and then ripped Randy Orton for being aarogant. He then says Orton has everything handed to him. Bryan wants a rematch, however Orton refuses. Orton went for an RKO, but Daniel Bryan drop kicked him instead, sending Orton flying to the outside of the ring. Bryan then leads the crowd into "Yes" chants.

* In a backstage segment, Wade Barret asks for a match against Daniel Bryan. Vickie announces that it will be a steel cage match.

* Recap from Monday's Raw between CM Punk & Curtis Axel's brawl.

* WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel defeated Cody Rhodes.

* Paul Heyman cuts a promo on CM Punk. Heyman then praised Brock Lesnar for his victory over Punk at the SummerSlam pay-per-view. Curtis Axel challenges Punk to a match on Raw.

* Dolph Ziggler defeated Big E Langston.

* World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio defeated Christian with the armbreaker.

* After the match, Del Rio got on the mic but is interrupted by Ricardo. Ricardo praised the crowd in Spanish, then brought out Rob Van Dam. Christian connects drop kicks ADR. Van Dam hit Rolling Thunder. RVD and Ricardo then hold up the World title.

* Big Show and Mark Henry defeated 3MB in a handicap match.

* Darren Young defeated Antono Cesaro.

* Recap for Summerslam AXXESS is shown.

* Daniel Bryan defeated Wade Barrett in a cage match.

* After the match, Bryan left the cage but was attacked by Randy Orton, who was hiding under the ring. Orton stands over Bryan as the fans chant "You suck."

Some pretty good matches, hope that cage match was good because I enjoyed their match last week.

Young is getting a push, I'm expecting him against Ambrose for the US Title maybe?

Maybe vs the Shield after a while. He's said that Titus has always knew when he did an interview. Assuming Titus truly always knew, still teamed with him and was respectful anyway, that's something good pr wise to spin after you build them up as a face group

The WWE title feud getting a large amount of Smackdown time? Maybe the reports of WWE making Smackdown better is true. Seems like the last few weeks, the main Raw feuds have been getting good Smackdown time.

Looks like a damn good show though.

Could it be because there is NOTHING good on Smackdown?

Yes, yes yes yes.....WWE is run by blueberries who hate wrestling and we should all chant the name of an irrelvant and unsuccessful indy company instead.

But this particular Smackdown! looks good imo.

Does look like another good show, with Smackdown's tv contract coming up soon they need to boost it as much as possible to get the money that they want for it.

Some good matches and plenty of storyline development. Still find this RVD/Ricardo pairing weird but I don't see it lasting long. Presumably he will get a title shot at Night of Champions.

Young is getting a push, I'm expecting him against Ambrose for the US Title maybe?

I can't see that happening. He had the singles match against Cesaro since PTP are feuding with The Real Americans and rather than going with a tag match every show they mix things up with some singles action. Can see them getting a push as a team, no reason to split them up.

Thing it looks a good show overall.

Am getting bored of WWE trying to get big guys over with squash style tag matches.

Cage match should be good and should boost Barrett's career.

Think they should have Orton say very little for awhile before coming out of his shell and accepting a Bryan challenge further down the line.

I found the Ryback segment quite amusing as the "fan" didn't know who Ryback was. Did anybody else given his current gimmick expect him to bust out the Bully Ray "Do You Know Who I Am?" line considering that's what they were going for and sort of dancing around it.
