USA Network will have a white-hot January with the grand arrival of WWE's two-hour action powerhouse SmackDown, tomorrow at 8/7 C - making USA the exclusive cable home to WWE marquee properties. In addition to Monday Night Raw, which airs live 52 weeks a year on Mondays from 8-11 p.m C, viewers can now bookend their week with SmackDown on Thursdays from 8-10 p.m. C.

“WWE is proud to have SmackDown join Raw as part of our expanded partnership with USA Network,” said WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon. “The combination of the No. 1 cable network and two ratings juggernauts provides a destination for our viewers and an extraordinary platform for our partners.”

With more than 800 original episodes, SmackDown is the second longest-running weekly episodic program in U.S. television history and is consistently one of the highest-rated weekly series on cable over the past 15 years - only behind Monday Night Raw. Since its debut, SmackDown has been broadcast from 170 different venues, in 148 cities and in seven different countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Iraq, Japan, Italy and Mexico. Tomorrow will mark SmackDown's 855th episode from Laredo, Texas.
SmackDown Five-Point Preview: January 28, 2016

While Alberto Del Rio may be waiting for just the right moment for his title rematch, United States Champion Kalisto is gunning to be a fighting champion in the fighting spirit of lucha. The masked titleholder puts the red, white and blue on the line against Neville - Thursday at 8/7 C on SmackDown.
Big Dog Talking

After Triple H's returned to cost Roman Reigns the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Royal Rumble, find out what The Big Dog, and his brother-in-arms Dean Ambrose, have to say to Chris Jericho on "The Highlight Reel" — Thursday night at 8/7 C on USA Network.
Will there be brotherly love on the “Highlight Reel”?

Just days after finding out that their Road to WrestleMania 32 will be thrust into high gear when they compete for the opportunity to main event The Showcase of Immortals against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H, both Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns will be put on the hot-seat by Chris Jericho on the “Highlight Reel.”

Thus far, both The Lunatic Fringe and The Big Dog have remained best friends against all obstacles, but will that bond be broken when faced with one another, Brock Lesnar, in a Triple Threat Match at WWE Fastlane? See what the brothers-in-arms have to say about their epic Triple Threat WWE World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match with The Beast Incarnate at WWE Fastlane during a must-see “Highlight Reel” on Thursday’s hottest show.
The United States Championship rises to new heights

Kalisto not only showed the strength of the lucha spirit when he defeated Alberto Del Rio at the Royal Rumble to win back the United States Championship, but he also overcameThe Miz the next night on Raw.

Proving already to be a fighting champion, the masked Superstar will put his championship on the line this Thursday against a competitor whose aerial awareness rivals his own: Neville. As The Essence of Excellence waits for the right moment to invoke his rematch clause, will he look to get involved in Thursday night’s title fight? Get ready to witness a high-flying affair when Kalisto honors the fighting spirit of lucha against The Man That Gravity Forgot in a United States Championship Match on SmackDown.
A phenomenal SmackDown debut

AJ Styles made his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble Sunday night and The Phenomenal One has more than lived up to his moniker. After his impressive Royal Rumble Match performance and a huge victory over Chris Jericho on Raw, what does he have in store for his SmackDown debut?

The two-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion will be in action on Thursday’s hottest show when he battles the man he threw out of the Royal Rumble Match on Sunday, The Social Outcasts’ Curtis Axel, in a head-to-head clash. Will the former Intercontinental Champion — with his band of misfits by his side — be able to slow down Styles’ rapid rise? Or will WWE’s newest sensation continue to take the WWE Universe by storm?
Who is the real Queen of WWE’s Divas division?

Divas Champion Charlotte is certainly finding it lonely at the top. The self-proclaimed “genetically superior Diva” has made enemies out of her former Team PCB teammates Paige and Becky Lynch, and most recently, drawn the ire of “The Boss” Sasha Banks. You can chalk some of that up to being the one with the butterfly-emblazoned title, but her and her father Ric Flair’s dirty tactics are certainly to blame as well.

Either way, the Diva from the Queen City will find herself with another foe Thursday night on SmackDown when she battles one of WWE’s most talented in-ring competitors, Natalya. Will the Divas Champion continue to show a flair for winning or will The Queen of Harts prove to be the real royalty of the Divas division? Plus, will we see any of Charlotte’s other adversaries make an appearance?
How will The New Day respond to The Rock?

The New Day may be regretting their decision to interrupt The Rock’s epic homecoming Monday night. Sure, the spirited trio got in their own entertaining verbal jabs, but they soon learned why The People’s Champion is called The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment.

After having the smackdown laid upon them by The Great One and The Usos on Raw, Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will kick off SmackDown Thursday night, and you can bet they will have plenty to say. Will the spirited trio call out The Brahma Bull? Don’t miss Thursday’s hottest show at 8/7 C on USA Network to find out.

This will be your new home for all things SmackDown on USA. Please use this thread to discuss SmackDown tonight and every Thursday on USA.

I look forward to seeing AJ Styles return to the night that made him famous. Maybe the Phenomenal One can make this brand phenomenal.

I'm not too entirely sure why they picked Curtis Axel. He's going to embarrass the poor Social Outcast.

SmackDown Five-Point Preview: Feb. 4, 2016

SmackDown on USA Network plays host to not one, but two must-see matches tonight as AJ Styles takes on The Miz and Roman Reigns clashes with The League of Nations' Rusev. See what's on tap for Thursday's hottest show.
The Phenomenal One battles The Awesome One

Since stepping into the WWE spotlight, AJ Styles has quickly asserted himself as a force to be reckoned with. His momentum hasn’t been limited to official matches, either. After The Miz refused to let Styles speak on Raw’s edition of “Miz TV,” The Phenomenal One reacted with an all-out onslaught.

As a result, the two Superstars will settle their differences tonight on SmackDown on USA Network at 8/7 C. Yet, is Styles really as good as he appears to be? Could The Hollywood A-Lister prove to be a major roadblock on Styles’ path to WWE glory?
Will Owens ground Kalisto?

On Monday, United States Champion Kalisto pulled off another huge victory over Rusev. But with his WWE Fastlane title rematch against another League of Nations adversary, Alberto Del Rio, drawing near, one has to wonder how the Lucha Dragon will fare against the always-dangerous Kevin Owens.

Overcoming Owens will be no small feat, to be sure. The Prizefighter was also in action on Monday’s Raw, falling short against a very game Dolph Ziggler. The brash Superstar will be looking to get back on track by any means necessary — especially against the current U.S. Champion!
Will The Wyatts target Ryback?

In recent weeks, The Wyatt Family has unleashed a new level of dark torment on the likes of Big Show and Kane. Tonight, Ryback takes on Wyatt disciple Erick Rowan. As no titan of the squared circle is safe from The Wyatt Family, will The Big Guy suffer the same fate as The World’s Largest Athlete and The Devil’s Favorite Demon?
Divas division: Who can predict the unpredictable?

Yes, you truly never know what to expect in the Divas division. On Monday, Brie Bella scored a huge non-title win against Divas Champion Charlotte. On the same night, Sasha Banks — in her hunt of the butterfly-emblazoned title — pushed for her independence from Team B.A.D. Fortunately for Sasha, Becky Lynch gave her some surprise help repelling Naomi and Tamina when they decided to attack The Boss.

Tonight on USA, Alicia Fox will battle Charlotte. Will she hand the champion her second loss of the week? Or will the titleholder get things back on track, with the help of her father, Ric Flair? And what, if anything, will we hear from Becky or Sasha?
Can The Big Dog take a bite out of The Bulgarian Brute?

On Monday, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose were laid out in a vicious post-match assault, compliments of their fellow WWE World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender Triple Threat Match combatant, Brock Lesnar, and WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day. End result: Reigns is not in a good mood.

Tonight on SmackDown, The Big Dog prepares to battle Rusev, one of the Superstars instrumental in costing him the WWE World Heavyweight Title in the Royal Rumble Match. That alone will make for an explosive contest.

Look for The League of Nation to try to bring their full weight to bear on tonight’s outcome, as well. Reigns does have The Lunatic Fringe to help even the odds. But considering that his brother-in-arms is also his opponent at WWE Fastlane, it will be interesting to see if Reigns will be able to count on that support. Can Reigns and Ambrose actually trust each other? Find out tonight on USA Network.

SmackDown Five-Point Preview: Feb 11, 2016

AJ Styles scored his first WWE victory over the legendary Chris Jericho three weeks ago on Raw. Now, Y2J is out to see just how phenomenal the explosive Superstar really is. Don't miss their highly anticipated SmackDown rematch, tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network.
AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho II

If their first go-around three weeks ago on Raw was any indication, tonight’s highly anticipated rematch pitting AJ Styles against Chris Jericho will definitely be a must-see showdown.

On Monday, the WWE Universe got a taste of just how high emotions are running between the Superstars when The Phenomenal One and Y2J engaged in an explosive collision — taking out The Miz in the process.

As they prepare to go to war yet again, questions are everywhere. Is Styles truly worthy of his “Phenomenal” moniker? Will The Ayatollah of Rock ’n’ Rolla turn back the tremendous momentum Styles has built for himself since emerging in WWE?
Will the Dudleys table their concerns?

Immediately following the chaotic Eight-Man Tag Team Tables Match on Raw, The Dudley Boyz stunned the WWE Universe by turning the tables on their partners The Usos and putting both the Samoan brothers through wood. But why would they carry out such an unexpected onslaught?

Tonight, Bubba Ray and D-Von will address their fans at SmackDown. Will they explain the reason for their attack? And will Jimmy and Jey be in any condition to respond?
Follow the carnage

In recent weeks, The Wyatt Family has laid waste to the likes of Kane, Big Show and Ryback. Considering that Bray Wyatt and his ominous followers are scheduled to address the WWE Universe tonight, it will be interesting to see whether they will shed some light on what is causing theses recent attacks … or whether they will indicate who will be the next target.
High-flying inside The Cosmic Wasteland

With Sin Cara back in action, The Lucha Dragons will touch down on tonight’s SmackDown, joining forces with Neville against The Cosmic Wasteland.

The explosive combination of The Man That Gravity Forgot, United States Champion Kalisto and a reinvigorated Sin Cara will surely prove to be a sight to see. But considering the long-standing rivalry between Neville and Stardust and the destructive nature of The Cosmic Wasteland, could the comic fates ultimately ground their opposition?
Are Sasha & Becky an effective Divas duo?

At WWE Fastlane, the unlikely alliance of Sasha Banks & Becky Lynch will battle Naomi & Tamina. But considering the past animosity between The Boss and the Irish Lass Kicker, just how effective will they be together?

If Monday’s Raw was any indication, the answer is not so great. Despite Sasha’s presence at ringside, Becky ultimately fell to Tamina. Will tonight be any different when Naomi battles The Boss one-on-one? Will Becky be on hand to help out? Regardless of whether she is, is it only a matter of time before the powder keg between Becky and Sasha explodes? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network?

SmackDown preview for 2/25:
It's time to play The Game, tonight on USA Network

Triple H is headed to SmackDown

In the wake of his vicious attack on WrestleMania opponent Roman Reigns, The Cerebral Assassin will address the WWE Universe on SmackDown - tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network.
What carnage will follow Triple H to SmackDown?

Tonight at 8/7 C on SmackDown, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H will address the WWE Universe. But what could possibly be on the mind of the 14-time World Champion? Or perhaps the real question is: Where will he start?

Certainly, The Game will address his WrestleMania title showdown against Roman Reigns — who triumphed in a furious Triple Threat Match at WWE Fastlane over Brock Lesnar and his brother-in-arms Dean Ambrose. But after undergoing surgery to repair his shattered nose thanks to the absolutely brutal assault unleashed by The King of Kings in Raw’s final moments, will The Big Dog be in any condition to launch a counter-offensive?

Moreover, will Triple H touch on the monumental reemergence of his brother-in-law Shane McMahon? The threat he presents to The Authority's power structure? Or perhaps the second Show of Shows main event that The Chairman Mr. McMahon created between the prodigal son and The Undertaker?! Could Shane-O-Mac be en route to big blue as well? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network.
Which Superstar will team up with AJ Styles & Chris Jericho?

AJ Styles finally proved to Chris Jericho that he really is “phenomenal” after defeating Y2J in their highly acclaimed rubber match at WWE Fastlane. But now, after competing against one another in three epic showdowns, are we witnessing the development of a dream tag team?

With a newfound respect for one another, the gifted grapplers showed their talents may be even better suited working together after silencing The Social Outcasts with an emphatic tag team victory on Raw. The team of “Y2AJ” — as the social outsiders referred to them on Raw — will have another opportunity to team up tonight on SmackDown, but this time with a third competitor in their corner. The only question is: Which Superstar will team up with this phenomenal pair to clash with WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day in a huge Six-Man Tag Team Match? And will “The Phenomenal One,” The Ayatollah of Rock ’n’ Rolla and their partner be able to slow down Big E, Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston
Will Natalya present a roadblock in Becky Lynch’s Road to WrestleMania?

The Road to WrestleMania 32 is in full gear for Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks, who will face off to see who challenges Charlotte for the Divas Championship on The Grandest Stage of Them All. But before The Irish Lass Kicker battles The Boss, she must get past Natalya tonight on SmackDown.

Can the fiery Becky keep her focus on the always dangerous Queen of Harts in their showdown on Thursday’s hottest show, or will she run into a barricade en route to WrestleMania 32?
Can Neville, The Lucha Dragons & Dolph Ziggler rise above The League of Nations?

The League of Nations has been embroiled in confrontations with various Superstars over recent weeks, from Edge & Christian and The New Day to The Lucha Dragons & Neville. Tonight on SmackDown, the powerful foreign faction will attempt to squash one of those conflicts when they battle United States Champion Kalisto, Sin Cara, The Man That Gravity Forgot & Dolph Ziggler in a must-see 8-Man Tag Team Match.

Will The Showoff’s inclusion help propel WWE’s most spectacular high-flying trio of Superstars over Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, King Barrett & Rusev? Or will we see the dastardly League of Nations continue to throw their weight around en route to domination?
Can Jimmy Uso turn the tables on D-Von Dudley?

The Dudley Boyz decimated The Usos in a shocking attack just two weeks ago on Raw, using the Samoan Superstars to make an emphatic statement in front of the WWE Universe. Despite claiming Monday that their assault was “nothing personal,” the hardcore legends seemed to have lit a fire under Jimmy & Jey Uso. Will Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley regret picking a fight with the high-flying duo?

Jimmy Uso will try and enact a bit of retribution tonight on SmackDown, when he goes one-on-one with D-Von in a can’t-miss collision.

Jericho-Styles is a feud I bet some fans have been waiting for, for years its a shame it has come some time past both's Prime.

I would argue that Styles is still having matches of his career. His run in Japan is most likely what caught the eye of WWE. I agree Y2J has seen better years. Still fantastic matches.

Did you not see their matches though?
Not watched Wrestling for awhile so no I guess.
You should. If nothing else, catch these.

SmackDown preview for 3/3: Becky vs. The Boss II:
Who will challenge Charlotte at WrestleMania 32?

SmackDown preview: Chasing butterflies to WrestleMania

Following a double pin in a Divas No. 1 Contender's Match on Raw, Sasha Banks will battle Becky Lynch again on SmackDown - tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network - for a chance to face Divas Champion Charlotte at The Show of Shows.
Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks II to determine the No. 1 contender

With their No. 1 Contender’s Match on Raw ending with a double pinfall, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks will now battle in a huge rematch tonight on SmackDown to determine who will challenge Charlotte for the Divas Championship at WrestleMania 32.

The Irish Lass Kicker and The Boss’s Road to WrestleMania has been far from a direct route, with both rivals briefly joining forces to defeat Naomi & Tamina at WWE Fastlane.

As seen on Raw Monday night, these fiercely competitive Divas are willing to leave it all out in the ring for a chance to battle for the butterfly-emblazoned title at The Showcase of Immortals, but which one will walk out of Thursday’s hottest show victorious? What will it take for the fiery Becky or the commanding Sasha to get the coveted “w”? Plus, with WrestleMania 32 fast approaching, how will the titleholder respond once a challenger is finally decided? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network.
Kicking off SmackDown with a little lunacy

And just like that, Dean Ambrose is smack-dab in the middle of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture with a huge title match live on WWE Network against Triple H on Sunday, March 12 at WWE Roadblock. What implications could a victory for the rebel Superstar at the WWE Network event have on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship scene?

Just when we thought The Lunatic Fringe couldn’t get any crazier after challenging Brock Lesnar to a No Holds Barred Street Fight at WrestleMania 32, he goes and pursues The King of Kings on Raw. Fortunately for the unstable Ambrose, he now has an opportunity to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but unfortunately, he had to go through another vicious thrashing to get what he wanted. While the resilient Ambrose has shown an uncanny ability to take a drubbing and come back for more, just how much more damage can his body actually take? Will we see the feisty Superstar get into another altercation tonight when he kicks off SmackDown?

Plus, what will the always unpredictable Superstar have to say following his brutal beating at the hands of The Game on Monday night? And will we see either of his WWE Roadblock or WrestleMania 32 opponents show up to confront him on Thursday’s hottest show?
Phenomenal possibilities

The team of AJ Styles and Chris Jericho continued to make a case for being the top contenders for The New Day’s WWE Tag Team Titles, when they topped the champions on Raw. Tonight on SmackDown, The Phenomenal One will get a chance to further prove “Y2AJ’s” worth in WWE’s crowded tag team division when he goes head-to-head with Kofi Kingston.

One thing’s for sure, with these two ultra-athletic Superstars competing inside the same ring, this will be a showdown you won’t want to miss. Can Styles pull off another spectacular victory or will Kingston’s hard-hitting kicks leave the phenomenal Superstar seeing stars?
Take two for The Miz and Dolph Ziggler

What has The Miz done lately? The Awesome One answered Dolph Ziggler on Raw with a pinfall victory out of nowhere against The Showoff. But Ziggler will get an opportunity for retribution tonight on SmackDown when he battles the self-proclaimed “A-lister” in a rematch.

Can the show-stealing Superstar prove that Monday night’s loss was just a fluke? Or will the host of “Miz TV” show his longstanding rival that he has plenty more WrestleMania moments to come.
Uso Crazy clashes with The League of Nations

The Usos have had their hands full in their ongoing conflict with The Dudley Boyz, but Thursday night on SmackDown, they will need to focus their attention on another intimidating foe: The League of Nations. Jimmy & Jey Uso will battle Sheamus & Rusev in a must-see tag team showdown at 8/7 C on USA Network.

Will the Samoan Superstars successfully take their frustrations with Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley out on their Thursday night opponents? Or will The League continue to run roughshod over their competition? Plus, will we see WWE’s hardcore duo look to inflict further damage against their Samoan rivals?
