So,

I found an add on that give our users 'money' for doing certain things on the site. This is just an idea for possible contests. All users can be reset to zero very easily, and each item can have a 'monetary' value that we set. For example the current options are set to the following:

Login: 5
Registration: 100
Update full profile: 20
Upload Avatar: 5
Create New Thread: 20
Thread Get reply: 2
Create poll: 10
vote in poll: 2
Poll gets vote: 2
New post: 3
Receive a post like: 5

For now, these numbers are just for fun. To see how they may work out. These stats can be tracker per user, and Admins have the ability to give money to any user, or group of users. There are ways to earn points in every way, even viewing a thread, but I disabled most of them; accept for the ones highlighted above. If this system is something we enjoy, there are MANY add-ons that can be used with this including a referral system (paid plugin by same company) What are your thoughts?

I'm simply in the meh category, not because I don't like this feature but mainly because i'll wait and see how it goes and to what extent it gets used.

I think you have a number off. New User @Ultimate has 1001 credits already so I'm guessing registration is set for 1,000 not 100

Ultimate is another account of mine, was playing with the store features. So I credited him 1k

So we have these credits now. Is there an ability to turn off points? Cause never will both be necessary.

There is..For now though, i think I will disable the credits feature until I can get the kinks worked out.

Currently, not a whole lot. But, just implementing to see how they work. Right now they are pretty passive...
