“Certainly we want to make a big splash on the CW Network,” he said. “We’ll have some big changes, but I think more of that will be from a look and physical standpoint. We will still be what NXT is, which is bringing some of the most talented, young, diverse athletes in all of the nation, and developing them into the WWE superstars of tomorrow. … The hunger, the passion that’s always been the core value of NXT is always going to be there. But certainly we’ll try to put on some pretty cool bells and whistles for the CW launch on Oct. 1.”

According to one source, the “yellow aspect” of the NXT logo will be changing, with the switch happening as early as the aforementioned debut episode on 10/1.

In addition to the yellow being phased out of the logo and feel for the brand, there are said to be plans for a more “straight-forward” type of presentation.

One person who is aware of the new look claimed it has an old “Los Angeles Raiders” feel to it, with black, silver and white colors used, and a more clean and metallic look to it.

WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels spoke with Sports Illustrated for an interview to promote the big launch scheduled for October 1 in Chicago, Illinois.

During the discussion, “The Heartbreak Kid” teased some “big, big surprises” for the move.

“The best stacked women’s roster in all of the world, if you ask me,” Michaels said to SI’s ‘The Takedown’ of the WWE NXT women’s division. “Roxanne Perez, Kelani Jordan, Jaida Parker, and then, of course, two of the hottest free agents in all the world with Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer.”

Michaels added, “And there are other big, big surprises coming down the pike. If you thought we were stacked before, you haven’t seen anything yet, and that goes on both sides of the roster.”​

Will be disappointed to see the white and gold go, it really was a synthesis of the best of NXT

They've used Yellow since the beginning of NXT. But they're moving to a new network, and NXT has become something new compared to what it was when it started. If the rumored Silver & Black is what they're going with that can be a badass look. I'ma go into this with an open mind.

I actually wonder if they'll make any sweeping changes to RAW in terms of color palette when they go to Netflix.

Also don't forget AEW kinda took the gold color.

there's also 25+ years of history with the color palette. NXT doesn't have that history. hell it's arguable that the biggest event in NXT history is Takeover Brooklyn 1 and that had a Black/White color palette.

They look plastic af in these renders but between the two pictures you should get a better idea. I like them, kinda bland but the NXT titles always were. It reminds me of the V2 ones that most people probably forget were second

The overall silver aesthetic wasn't the most exciting but I think it works, and will in the PC especially. It's such a stark contrast to 2.0 in a short time lol they really didn't like that

fair enough. I think silver titles almost always look second rate comparing to gold ones. perhaps thats me being ab it of a traditionalist tho. I also think silver in general is just...boring and over done. I feel the same about silver cars, it's just so...safe?
