Tbh I'd expect the major plot points to be the same, the path they take to get there should be vastly different though

I mean the writers turned down two more seasons because they wanted to be done with it so I buy they just fumbled the build, but at this point I want a vast departure because the taste is so bad a different book ending might get it out of my mouth.
