Well I got a whole 3 hours of sleep so I’m back to going to nap lmao I’m pretty deep in to the game and still really enjoying myself. Victor sucks lol but when you make a main villain as great as Wesker, it’s really gonna be difficult to duplicate that in any way or even come close. He’s still a better villain than most of the ones that followed after RE3 who weren’t Wesker though imo


The game is like a mix of RE2 remake/RE4 remake with some OG RE 1 elements to it.


I love that it’s 30 years after RE3 and you get to see Racoon City in the aftermath. Not a spoiler as it’s in the trailers but I’m super excited to get to the RPD and explore it in its current state. I’m not sure if i am close to that part yet but i think i might be. Nostalgia gonna hit hard.

the girl was sherry after all like most speculated. I just finished the section where Leon snipes for Grace and it's been pretty crazy. I love how it's a mix of the action games and survival horror games. the leon sections are basically just a tease at least for right now.

my speculations so far are that Gideon is spencer's memories transferred and the girl monster is the 2nd girl from the glass room and Emily will more than likely turn into one as well by the end of the game and try to kill me. it looks like for some reason grace is the person that can withstand the t virus so they want her blood which they got at the very beginning of the game.

If you’re a trophy hunter, speed demon is pretty easy on casual with infinite ammo purchase and get Freya’s needle for Grace for later.

I was telling @Butters early this Morning how impressed and how much I'm enjoying this Playthrough of someone on Youtube on this Game. Unless I become a Millionaire I'll never be in a spot where I can buy a new system and play this and do a run with it. I loved the Monsters I'm seeing early especially that one chasing Grace and won't go in the dark. I also like how you can use noise with the Zombies and make them fight each other.

Replaying this on ps5 pro is a joy. I thought it looked good on switch 2 but the framerate suffered in areas. Ps5 pro looks good and i haven’t had any issues with framerate so far

Started INSANITY mode earlier.

I am just going in to the east wing so not tremendously far in but a few notes:

My brother started it the other day with no perks. He called me and told me all about his experience. He managed to get as far as collecting the first quartz LOL….and then he turned off his game cuz it was extremely hard. I’ve seen him online since then so he’s still trying to tackle it, not sure how far he is now but he’s still playing with no perks. The zombies are faster, there are more enemies, items are not always where they were in the other modes, zombies even touching you, not even biting you (like when they grab you but you stab them and even just reaching out to you) takes health. I think he said even without a bite you’ll be on caution. Ammo is super rare, health is super rare and you can only save with ink ribbons so you’ll be set back a lot if you die.


I got infinite ink ribbons as a reward for getting the speed demon trophy and with my CP points I’ve purchased infinite ammo, the rocket launcher, infinite rocket launcher ammo (it’s a separate purchase) and Freya’s needle so I went in with perks. The Girl is a bitch as she gives an instant death so you can’t go near her at all. The chef took 5 requiem bullets to die and zombies have either been 1 requiem bullet if I get a headshot or 2 otherwise. Rocket launcher (Leon only) is a bit odd cuz I aim right at them but it’s often oddly gone past them….so you have to aim a little more towards the ground. Obviously a nice one blast to ruin everyone though lol


So yeah so far it’s not that crazy when you have the perks but without them you’ll have a hell of a time.

So glad they have infinite rocket launcher unlocks. Love those in re2 and 3

just finished it again on Ps5 last night and looking at the CP point stuff might be tricky. I got around 10k for my casual play-through and I need 50k for infinite ammo.

Looking at the challenges it looks like I can either beat the game on insanity(40k points) or I can play it again on Casual and try to do the no healing items challenge(35k) and the no blood collecting challenge(35k). I made a shit ton of bullets and hemolytic injectors on my first play but i also can probably just run through shit now that i know what i need and don't need.
