Report: WWE Considering Turning Cora Jade Heel

While Cora Jade has been one of the top babyfaces in NXT's women's division since the 2.0 revamp in September of 2021, that could be set to change.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE have talked about booking Jade to turn heel and attack her on-screen best friend Roxanne Perez. There is no word on why WWE are thinking about turning Jade heel.

Jade and Perez have been friendly on TV together since Perez's debut back in April and they have since started teaming together, including earlier this week when they became number one contenders for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships with a win over Katana Chance and Kayden Carter.

They will challenge Toxic Attraction's Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne for the titles at next week's special Great American Bash episode of NXT.​

Easy sell with Roxanne coming in and taking her shine but i'd rather they just go with them as tag champs, freshen up the division with them.

Was already dumb enough Roxy wins a singles tournament n challenges the tags instead lol. Always making their bb's look like cowards lol

Would be a bad move right now seeing that they don't really have many faces that are over in NXT. If you ask me, I would have Cora and Roxane beat Toxic Attraction for the Tag Team Championships first before even thinking of a heel turn that is not needed at this point.

are you sure, I had read different but I don't watch the show. Sometimes these reviewers miss stuff though

I thought that counted as her shot from the tournament too, I was only confused bc they then defended the shot in a number one contenders match but Roxanne def said prior that she was forgoing the singles title match to team with Cora
