In early 2014, WWE Chairman Vincent Kennedy McMahon launched the WWE Network. A streaming service for fans that would only cost them $9.99! Can you believe that?! $9.99, what a deal! Well apparently some fans didn't seem to think so and either were unable to afford it, or just flat out refused to purchase it even if they had the money. Soon enough it became apparent that stocks were going down, and the network idea just wasn't panning out like Vince had enviosioned it to, and eventually one thing lead to another and he had to permanently shut down operations for WWE. It wasn't an easy choice for Vince, but little did people know that he had an ace up his sleeve because even though WWE was no longer around he just couldn't even bear the thought of TNA being the number one wrestling company in the world.

He got in touch with his son, Shane McMahon. Who had wrestled for a number of years with WWE and also worked behind the scenes as well, and Vince knew that his son had a mind for the business. They spoke with each other, and together they came up with an idea and that's when...

Global Championship Wrestling was born!

Together, Vince and Shane run Global Championship Wrestling and are striving to make it the number one wrestling company in the world. To ensure that, they already secured such top talents from the WWE like John Cena, The Rock, Dolph Ziggler, Seth Rollins, and many more. He also brought in talents from other parts of the world, such as former TNA, NJPW, and ROH star AJ Styles! Plus many more stars from the past and present from around the globe.

Vince will not only be running the company he'll also be on commentary, and joining him will be none other than "Vintage" Michael Cole! Shane will be the GM of their premiere show, Monday Night Meltdown! Which will premiere only on the FX Network!

cool concept, hope the post-WWE Vince effect factors into it.
