Says it's not the same person who is in the ladder match. Tony Schiavone was talking about how legends come to AEW to pass their knowledge on right before Khan said this, so that could be a hint that's it's more of a legend than active wrestler

So originally Wight said that the guy was Hall of Fame worthy but not in the Hall of Fame I believe. I see the same names being banded around: Brock, Cena, Batista, Rock, CM Punk and alot of people are going with Kurt Angle.

Who are you guys expecting it to be? Is it gonna be some old timer to come in as a manager? A genuine shocker like Brock or someone from Japan perhaps

I think best case scenario is Brock or Punk. Would be the most substantial signings imaginable if they were able to pull that off. Angle would be an acceptable second tier option and I'd be down to see him go one more time, even though I know he looked rough in his last matches, I just think he should get a final match that is more befitting for his career. I don't really see any chance of it being Cena, Batista or Rock. Could definitely just be a retired star coming in for an on-screen role though.

Him saying "Hall of fame worthy" and the general vibe of the promo lead me to believe it wouldn't be some super old guy or anyone already in the WWE HOF, but I also said last night that anytime you go that hard with some buy bait of this sorts, you're probs more likely to lie too

I think Angle is very likely if the "HOF Worthy" line didn't mean not in HOF, and Show said it "wasn't who you think it is" so probs not Brock? Idk tho lol part of me thinks if it was that huge of a name they'd say it instead of advertising "big name"
