LAS VEGAS -- Nick Diaz, who still insists he's retired, was a conspicuous presence backstage at UFC 170 on Saturday night.

But Dana White wasn't among those who got to have a meet-and-greet with the King of Stockton.

"I haven't even heard from Nick Diaz," White said Saturday. "Nick Diaz called and asked for tickets, I don't know. We haven't even heard from Nick Diaz."

Diaz told FOX Sports on Saturday that he would only return for a title shot. "I'm talking about a title shot here matchup," Diaz said. "Bottom line, I'm the only draw here."

But White didn't exactly sound like's ready to hand the former Strikeforce welterweight champ such a spot.

"It's not even worth talking about," White said. "He hasn't fought, he hasn't wanted a fight, he's not even in the conversation."
Don't get me wrong, he probably is the most interesting guy in that division but that still doesn't warrant him walking into a title shot. Would expect Hendricks to take him quite comfortably with the wrestling given what he did to GSP and providing he beats Lawler that is. Should tell him if he wants back in then he's to fight Rory.

Dana White's full of shit, he is ready and willing to give Nate a title shot. He wouldn't want to throw away the only draw left in that division.

Nick is the most interesting in the division. he has character and personality but a title shot? Nah. Gotta earn that cause right now you have Hendricks and Lawler that can catch on with their skills. Plus folks like Hendricks and the beard. Rory is starting to get back into the swing of things. I mean welterweight is still stacked.

I'd want him in the division but he isn't walking in with a title shot.
