WWE Offers Contract To Jericho

WWE has offered a contract to Chris Jericho. WWE wants him back by the fall; preferably for the three-hour "season premiere" of Raw in October. No word yet on where Jericho stands in all this.

god i hope this is true, Y2J is one of my few favourites. If it does go though and he signs hopefully they'll put him in the WWE championship picture again. And also i hope he is heel when he comes back. But it makes sense if his face. (Big names that make a return usually are face when they do)

I really hope Y2J returns , I loved his segments and his trash talking. Not to mention his in-ring skills . . Can't wait till plain old raw once again can be called Raw is Jericho!

If Jericho resigns with the company, it would be the biggest thing to happen in WWE all year, imo. With all the top names who are injured/retired, WWE needs Jericho back in the company. He has it all. He is a great wrestler, one of the best ever on the mic, has a huge fanbase and can draw a reaction from the crowd with anything he does. You don't get many of those for the pound nowadays.

But just becuase WWE offered Jericho the chance to return, doesn't mean he'll accept it (although I expect him to).

Calm down people he is not back right now, it's just that Wwe offered him a contract.
If Jericho will be back it will be for one Night Only not more than that.
He said that his Wrestling Days are over and he will not accept any Contracts or Returns he is all about Music Now.

this is the best thing I've heard about wrestling in a long time, Y2J would be such a great asset, and him and edge could have a giant feud... i wonder how this will progress throughout the next 5 months to the season premier.

This is one report that I hope is true.... JERICHO IS GOD!! The one thing is if he does return, he'll probably go to SD because he was "fired" from RAW after his last match.

Yeah i hope he comes back to smackdown with a face run against Edge but he hasn't signed yet.
Also knowing WWE's recent inconsistency with storylines he may just go back to raw, hell he might even go to ECW!
