The 32 Competitors has been announced for the New Japan Cup this Year and I like the field. Don't forget the winner faces Naito at Sakura Genesis for both the IWGP Heavyweight and IC Titles ten days later. Henare I'm happy for getting more opportunities he's been working his ass off alot lately and here's to a G1 Climax spot as well for him. So many great First Round Matches that are good enough to be the Finals like Ibushi vs SABRE JR, Okada vs White, Taichi vs Tana, or even Shingo vs Ospreay meeting each other again since their classic Match last time around. Bummer, but it’s completely understandable. There were a lot of solid looking matches too but I understand why they’ve done this.

You and me both Brother. Ibushi has been my guy since his DDT days and it's been time for him to be crowned World Champion at this point. Ibushi might have to get through one of the toughest guys in Shingo to get to the Final Four, but Ibushi has all the tools to get it done. It could be Okada vs Ibush in the Finals and the chance of Ibushi beating out Okada to get to Naito would be quite a sight.

I'm bummed that Toa Henare got left out now, I really thought 2020 would be his year. I know a lot of people don't like him, but I do haha. Makes me wonder whether he's stuck here in NZ and isn't in Japan though.

I've missed NJPW so much, and can't wait for this. Need to restart my NJPW World sub.

Looking forward to seeing Tanahashi, Ibushi and EVIL the most, they're my guys <3

Just finished day 1 of the NJ Cup. The main event was the best empty arena match so far during the pandemic (in my opinion).

There was also a contender for worst worked match of the year with Jado. It was an absolute shocker. People can love NJPW and hate WWE all they want but I guarantee you WWE won't be putting anything that bad on TV
