I've still yet to mentally associate the Sony series having any connection to the MCU even with the multiverse explicitly explaining how it could lol and I'm such an MCU completionist that I'm catching up on all the TV shows before I watch the new movies but i haven't even considered watching a Sony one

I thought the first Venom was okay, but I can understand people not being in any rush to see these films.

I feel like most of my enjoyment of the first was because I like Riz Ahmed and Tom Hardy is one of my favourite actors.

The more they showed of this film, the less interested I became in seeing it.

Yeah they’re technically connected to the MCU but it’s such a fucking joke cause the movies are trash lmao. Sony are abusing the shit out of the fact they they own the rights to Spider Man characters. I don’t blame them I guess because money is money but as a fan it’s so annoying these characters are being butchered by a studio that clearly doesn’t know what it wants.
