Results from GCW's Monday Night Meltdown

The show kicks off with Shane McMahon in the ring making an announcement that rock GCW to it's very core. At the very first PPV for GCW, Deadly Hostility we'll see a GCW Heavyweight Championship match and the first man to be wrestling for the title will be none other than John Cena! Before Shane can get to the second participant he's interrupted...

It's John Cena!

Cena comes out and says that he's honored to be given such an opportunity, but he feels like someone else should be given his spot. Shane assures him that he's the right man for the match, and before John can retort Shane introduces his opponent...

AJ Styles!

AJ comes out and says that he's wrestled all around the globe, and now he's here to take on the very best that the business has to offer, John Cena! He wants nothing more than to wrestle John Cena in front of the thousands of fans around the world. John is flattered, and finally accepts and the match is on as the two shake hands much to the delight of the fans

A tag team match between The Hollywood Blondes 2.0 vs The Bushwhackers takes place, but it's quickly interrupted by the lights going out and once they are back on Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are in the ring and start brawling with The Bushwhackers while The Blondes hightail it.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson comes out to electrify the crowd like only he can, and shows his appreciation for the fans and thanks them for the support and promises this time for good that he will never EVER leave wrestling. Then he introduces his father, and proclaims that his father will be his manager moving forward. Before Rock can continue he's interrupted by Don Muraco, who claims that there can only be one "The Rock", and he has claimed the name long before Dwayne ever did. Rocky does what he does best and throws out his catchphrases at Don before telling Muraco to Just Bring It! The match is on for Deadly Hostility!

Ryback runs through CJ Parker in an absolute squash, and then proclaims that he wants a bigger challenge. Cue the music of Bill Goldberg, and tells Ryback he knows who's next and points to Ryback! Ryback fires back saying that he's tired of hearing the comparisons and that he's going to prove that he's better than the almighty Goldberg.

Disco Inferno and Fandango have an argument backstage about who the better dancer is, and challenge each other to a dance off in the ring. Once in there they both show off their moves only to be interrupted by Adam Rose and his Rosebuds. He shows them what he calls "real dancing", and starts showing off to them until both Disco and Fandango attack Rose until they are stopped by officials.

Backstage Ziggler and Breeze are together showing off for the ladies, Candice LeRae and Bailey, who just giggle instead of being impressed. Ziggler is insulted by this and starts bad mouthing them until Candice shows that she can hang with the men, and grabs him by the family jewels and tells him to get lost. Ziggler, insulted and defeated limps away while Breeze laughs at his partner.

Later on in the night Candice teams with Bailey to take on Paige and Mickie James, which ends in a no contest when the referee loses complete control of the match.

An announcement is made when a six man tag team match is made, Mistico will team with Ultimo Dragon to take on the teams of Juventud Guerrera and La Parka, and the other team is Funaki and Akira Tozawa.

Scott Norton has a hard hitting triple threat match with Baron Corbin and Crimson, which results in Norton picking up the win and after the match being approached by Sylvester Lefort offering his managerial services.

In the main event we see Seth Rollins of The New Corporation taking on Drake Younger, which is a fast paced, back and forth match that ends in a disqualification when GM Shane McMahon interferes and he helps Seth tear down Drake until Sami Callihan makes the save. Shane and Seth hightail it out of the ring while Sami watches on from the inside while checking on Drake.
