After Chael Sonnen was unable to get his licensing squared away in Las Vegas and California, it wiped away plans for Sonnen to coach opposite Michael Bisping on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter. The UFC stood behind their plan to get Bisping and his big personality back on the show and made the logical move. From MixedMartialArts.com:
Today, UFC President Dana White revealed exclusively to the Underground that middleweight's Michael Bisping and Jason 'Mayhem' Miller will coach the fourteenth installment of the Ultimate Fighter reality show.
Following up on a somewhat bland season 13 coaching match-up of Brock Lesnar and Junior dos Santos, the cocky and talkative Miller and Bisping should help bring back some of the coaching conflict that has made the show successful in the past.
It also represents the first time that Miller will have been used by the UFC since his recent signing with the company, a signing which brought with it news that Miller had been effectively blackballed by CBS and Showtime for his participation in the Strikforce: Nashville brawl.
