Drew McIntyre defeated Madcap Moss at Elimination Chamber in a match, which was seemingly done to build a match between the former WWE Champion and Happy Corbin. However, during the match, there was an incredibly scary where Moss landed in the top of his head, apparently having tucked his chin when not necessary, taking an Alabama Slam. With Corbin on the outside realizing the potential severity, he pulled Moss out of the ring to buy him some additional time to get his composure.
While the match would finish assumably as planned, the only thing anyone talked about afterward on social media was the scary bump. And now PWInsider’s Mike Johnson has posted an update confirming that Moss was examined backstage, and it is believed to be okay.
For those who have asked, Madcap Moss is said to be OK backstage after taking a scary bump when tucking his head during the Alabama Slam during the Drew McIntyre Falls Count Anywhere match at today’s WWE Elimination Chamber PPV in Saudi Arabia. Obviously, there was concern in the moment but we are told he was checked out and the word is he looks to be fine.

Moss is a former college football player who has been with WWE since 2014. Unfortunately, his career was previously hindered twice due to injury, with him suffering a torn Achilles tendon when in NXT and then a torn ACL when part of the Raw roster. With him currently receiving a big push alongside Corbin on SmackDown, another injury would have been terrible for his career. Thankfully, though, that doesn’t appear to be an issue.
