According to Celebrity Net Worth, Cena is worth $55million (£35.4m).

Forbes reckons he earned $8m,(£5.9m) in 2016 from WWE alone, down from $9.5m (£6.7m) in 2015.

However, as of April 2018, they reckon that Cena has overtaken Brock Lesnar as the highest earning wrestler in WWE, pocketing $10m (£7.4m) in 2017.

Cena makes around $8.5m (£6.3) per year solely from wrestling, receiving $500,000 (£375,000) for a main event appearance.

He also gets 5% of all merchandise sales, estimated at $1m (£750,000), on top of 25% of the licensing deal, according to Total Sportek.

I meant overall. Austn got12 million one year apparently but his career at the top was mostly 3-4 years.
I think the largest earning year for the company was 1999, they made over 68 million. They also paid wrestlers a lot less back then too. Stone Cold likely made a lot this year.
Brock likely still is the top earner overall if we are talking total just because he can make what the average WWE wrestler makes in 5 years in one match.

Biggest year will probably be now. 200 million for GRR, another billion over 5 years for Smackdown.

What is even the point in Net Worths?
Your net worth as an individual or as a company, government, etc. is the total amount by which your assets exceed your liabilities.
So if you have a negative net worth, this implies you have a profound amount of debt. Some people can be living like millionaires and have a lower net worth.
The number is basically stating everything he has earned, be it spent money on assets (homes, cars, etc.) or in the bank minus any debts. His financial value is $55 million.
