For the longest time we have been fed Roman Reigns like he was the top dog and the future face of the company. I didn't buy it and none of the fans seems to buy it either. They tried too dang hard. Him winning the title off Brock is about as believable as a return from CM Punk at this point. He lost, and lost, and lost. Why bother caring?

Then you have Braun Storwman. He is a great dude, he can put on a match that is great. He is clearly able to beat Brock but will it happen? Ross is thinking someone else will come out on top and beat Brock and it may be a good move.

I don't know if you guys remember but before Roman, there was Drew. Vince was high on Drew McIntyre and really believed he was going to go places in the company and bring in a new era. Well, nothing ever came of that and he kind of faded into the shadows.

JR had this to say:

“[McIntyre] looks great, he sounds great, he’s in great condition, he’s just getting better and better,” said Ross.

“He’s a big time player. I could see, very easily, Drew McIntyre being a Universal or WWE Champion down the road. Without a doubt. It’s a lay-up; trust me on this one.”

Would you like to see Drew take down Brock?

Yes, I would love to see Drew take down Brock and be the champion, but there is also a list of several other wrestlers as well, i would love to see win as well.

Well no shit. It’s obvious he will most likely win the WWE title or UT at some point. He’s exactly what Vince looks for.

Well Jim didn't claim that his answer wasn't obvious. You are right, Drew is Vinces wet dream. It's interesting to see how Drew is going to rise to the top. I think pairing him with Ziggler will help him.

I never put too much faith in what JR says. He once said Billy Gunn was the 'greatest pure athlete.' If that'd been the case, Billy Gunn would've gone straight to the top and won world championship gold the same year that he'd become the King of the Ring. He didn't, so blowing up someone doesn't necessarily mean their careers will skyrocket.

How can you be wrong about Drew tho? How can he fail? *remembers his first run

Billy Gunn would have, but due to backstage politics WWE pulled the plug with him.

Ah I forgot about this ARREST OF WWE DIVA TIFFANY CONFIRMED, LATEST KNOWN DETAILS | PWInsider.com

His ex was abusive. I don't even remember her in WWE at all. This was around the time I went to see Raw live. I went in September. He was a HUGE deal to Vince during this time but I can't remember what happened that made him fall off. Did he get injured? I know he had a run with 3MB but I hardly cared for that.

He fell because of his ex wife for she has\had pulls in the WWE, and such. If I can find it again there was a video I believe that explained it very well.

@Solid Snake I couldn't find the video, but I found an article that he was a big deal, but he fell out with management due to being high maintenance and because he failed to get over with the WWE. He was also demoted as well because of the Domestic Violence arrest as well. As for his wife, she was in WWE, but she is mainly known for her time in TNA/Impact, where she is the longest reigning Knockouts Champion. Hope that helps you.
