Chris Sabin (c) vs. Bully Ray

5on5 TAG TEAM MATCH (Losing wrestler leaves TNA)
Main Event Mafia vs. Aces & Eights

BOUND FOR GLORY SERIES LADDER MATCH (Winner gets 20 points)
AJ Styles vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Austin Aries vs. Kazarian

BOUND FOR GLORY SERIES TABLE MATCH (Winner gets 20 points)
Magnus vs. Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Roode vs. Ken Anderson

KNOCKOUTS TAG TEAM TORNADO MATCH (No Disqualification, No Countouts)
Mickie James and Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky and ODB

TNA are again going to be running a special episode of Impact Wrestling based on one of their former PPVs. Destination X was held last week and pulled in a good rating and next they will be running Hardcore Justice on Spike on the 15th of August 2013.

I like the idea that they are using former PPV themes to create special episodes of Impact. It freshens things up to have a themed Impact a few times a year and they are chosing popular former PPVs as well which is logical and smart.

Hardcore Justice on Spike should be a fun show. Everyone likes a few hardcore matches every now and then and if they book another strong title match it should draw in a decent rating for TNA.

What do you think about TNA booking another TV special? Do you like the idea of the Hardcore Justice theme?

I don't think TNA cares about the four people that purchased that.

They must be confident that this theme will appeal to fans and will draw a good rating. Anyway haven't they done it before where they have run a PPV twice in the same year?

I think they should space these themed events out a bit to give them more of special feel.

Since I don't know what 4 PPV's were kept, I will assume that Lockdown will also become an attraction Impact.

If spaced out properly they can more than make up for the loss to the PPV roster, and still keep these events relevant should they ever chose to add new PPV's to the schedule.

Really doubt it because they always built up Lockdown as their second biggest PPV next to BFG. I don't know the fourth but I'm sure Lockdown, Slammiversary, and BFG are the main three kept, maybe Final Resolution?

I would have assumed Destination X would have been kept as one of the 4, but I feel the gimmicks work better on TV as they really need the increase in ratings that Destination X managed to do.

Honestly I would have kept Slamminersary, Bound for Glory, Destination X, & Lockdown. Gives 2 gimmick ppvs & 2 serious ppvs, kinda like how WWF was back when they only had 4 a year.

But Destination X was last week's Impact gimmick. I knew they wouldn't keep that one because Hogan wanted to get rid of it completely a couple years ago, but then I guess couldn't think of another PPV name, so brought it back in July.

Re: TNA Hardcore Justice 2013 on Spike TV

They have announced a TNA World title match for Hardcore Justice. Chris Sabin will be defending his title against Bully Ray inside a steel cage. Very strong first match to announce for this card.

I disagree with this being a 'very strong match'. Hulk announced this as a way to keep Main Event Mafia and Aces and Eights from interfering and acted like it was a foolproof plan... Does he not remember how Bully Ray first won the championship? That Steel Cage match with Jeff Hardy had a TON of interference. It doesn't matter how they paint it out, Sabin isn't a convincing champion after the way he beat Bully and the mere fact that Bully is in the match means there will be like 15 people trying to interfere.

Unless they add the stip that all aces and MEM members are banned from ringside then I agree it's pretty weak.

I still think that a TNA World title match inside a steel cage is a strong match for an episode of Impact. I know that they will be a dozen run ins but the match itself, before the dusty finish, should be good.

Re: TNA Hardcore Justice 2013 on Spike TV

I'm not sure how good the match will be, most cage matches the past few years for both companies have just been one guy throwing another up against the cage for awhile before some kind of comeback, which is what this will probably be, along with multiple run-ins.
