It was announced last week that this season of House will be it's last. This was the final year in Hugh Laurie's contract anyway and with declining ratings it isn't a surprise that they are finishing. They had a great run to get eight seasons.
I used to be a fan of House, actually I was a huge fan of the show, for the first three seasons. Once they started reducing the roles of the other three and started adding new assistants the show completely lost the magic touch that it had. To begin with the chemistry was fantastic and I really don't know why they messed with it. Haven't watched an episode since season 4.
