Training Day gets my vote for sure. Never seen someone go out of their element the way Denzel did and do an all time great performance to the level he did.

I agree they both did great jobs there won't be another police movie that can caption what they were going for as well as they did.

I don't do scary movies, so The Ring wasn't an option for me really. Training Day is in my opinion a timeless classic. If it's not being considered that by now, something is wrong here. Went with Training Day.

I'm not typically high on horror movies, but The Ring was a fascinating psychological thriller on top of how scary it was. So I went with that one.
