WHACK!

BAM!

WHOOSH!

We sometimes always seem to make those noises in our heads when we see Action Scenes in Films and TV as a audience. My favorite genre of Movies is Action Films and I thought to myself what are the Greatest and my Favorite Fight Scenes I've seen in Movies and TV over the years? I mean I can talk about this till I'm 100 years old, but let's get it started with one. Oh and feel free to post your favs as well as I slowly post my own.

Maul vs Obi-Wan vs Qui-Gon Jinn from Star Wars: A Phantom Menace. Yes this film has it's problems, but don't you dare tell me that you didn't get chills when "Duel of the Fates" plays in this important fight. I remember watching it as a kid and my mouth dropping too when Maul unleashes the Double Saber before this guy goes to town. I love the part when Qui-Gon Jinn is mediating as Maul is a Rabid Animal showing the difference between Sith and Jedi, but damn it still might be my favorite from the franchise with a chance that Rey vs Kylo in Rise of the Skywalker could get me there, but it's a long shot I feel. I mean even Jinn saying to Obi-Wan with his dying words train the boy oh man heart breaker.

Awesome. Rewatching it again Qui-Gon Jinn I believe knew if the fight would prolong he would be in trouble vs Maul one on one. You saw it early in the film him having trouble with Maul and age came back to bite him I feel. A younger Jinn with Obi-Wan and were having a whole another discussion about Anakin being trained by both Jedi Knights versus Obi-Wan by himself.

For sure The Raid Films were for sure in the discussion. The two Raid Films are outstanding Movies, not just from a Action sense, but the story and the way the Movies are shot are so well done. I hope we get a third film involving Iko Uwais, but to me this is my favorite Fight Scene in the whole film, if not the scenes where he's on the Hallway. It's been said it's not the size of the Dog, but the the will of the Dog in the fight. Looking at Mad Dog fighting two guys you say he has no chance, but the dude is a person you don't want to owe money to. Earlier in the film you find out how bad ass he is, so this final scene was a great payoff for the characters involved.

Nada vs Frank[They Live 1988]

I mean these guys spent weeks choreographing the fight and all Nada wanted is to have Frank put on the Sun Glasses to see what he was seeing with them on. One of the most realistic fights I've seen in a Movie, fuck Hogan..PIPER RULES!

Perfect blend of realism with action.....used MMA in an exciting way that no other MMA based movie has come close to.

The Turtles vs Shreddar[TMNT 1990]
Yeah I said it, one of the best around I feel. One of the main reasons why this Movie still the best of all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles based films, is this Movie was darker than any of the others. Yeah it had the Comedy, but it wasn't afraid to go that dark element trusting the kids of that time like myself to understand the importance of what we were seeing. Take this in, your Surrogate Father or Mother has been missing for weeks and the person or group, who kidnapped them is right across from you not giving you any info on where's he or she right now. I would rage too like The Turtles did in the moment, and Shredder fucking outclassed The Turtles in this Scene.

The Writing leading up to this fight, The Music, Choreography was perfection in this Scene. I mean it starts off with Raf saying "I got him" like the rebellious Teenager he is. After he gets dropped The Turtles find out really fucking quickly this guy wasn't no Foot Soldier. I don't know if you can create this greatness ever again and how it ends too just amazing. You see the Turtles completely lost not knowing where in their Training didn't work out here, as Shredder is patiently with his back turned waiting for The Turtles to come at him again. I love the close up shots too during the fight felt so unique for such a Movie that was pro-Comedy, the fight gave it's importance and understanding these weapons are dangerous. WE don't give credit to the Stunt team involved in this film especially with those ass outfits.

Death comes for us all, Oroku Saki, but something much worse comes for you. For when you die, it will be...

Without honor.

Yeah X-23 is amazing throughout the film. If that Character doesn't work out God knows how the rest of the film works out no matter the greatness of Hugh Jackman.
Well, I mean without Jackman it wouldn't have been good. But, the actor for the character of Laura was a good choice. And pretty much was capable of stealing the show from Jackman.

For sure and she showed her acting chops going from a dangerous Mutant, to a lovable one. Even time she is near Logan at the end it gets me everytime.

The ending was very good. I was glad I bought it on Blu ray. Was a worthwhile buy. The Noir verison of the movie is dope.
