For those of you who watch the X-Factor, you all know Astro. He is only 15 and can rap with ease. He didn't win the competition but became close. For those of you who have never heard of the kid, check these videos out.

Already knew of him before this show because he was on 106 and park once before. Guy pretty much had a deal waiting for him somewhere ever since he got on 106 and on X-Factor. L.A Reid himself probably has already got a deal in place for him for his own label he is helping to run really. Kid is talented and should have instant success. Key will be if he will have long term success which that and the word hip hop don't often mix since you can be hot one minute gone the next. Add the fact that him being a teen is apart of his appeal and so it's questionable if that will carry when he becomes an adult.

Being a teen/young is always part of the appeal. Look at Lil Bow Wow. When he was a kid spittin those rhymes everyone was all over it. They was all over him thinkin he was gonna be the next big thing. He had the skills and could flow, plus he had J. Dupri and crew behind him. He got older and his career just fizzled out. So yeah right now he looks like a kid with skills... but doesn't mean he is gonna last in the game. But from what I heard there... he sounds pretty good.
