Funny thing about El Generico.

I remember that people used to shit on Kofi Kingston for pretending to be Jamaican. On the flip side, I've never heard anyone shit on El Generico for pretending to be Mexican. Yeah, yeah, I get that one is a comedy character, but I just found it funny that no one has pointed it out.

Now that Generico isn't tagging with Steen anymore, how do you guys see him doing in Ring Of Honor as a singles competitor? I think the guy is amazing in the ring and can have some great singles matches.

I think why their hasnt been reaction to El Generico compared to Kofi is because ROH has a much smaller audience and not everybody is able to watch it. For one thing their main show is on a channel called HD Net which most people arent familiar with or dont get altogether, and second when people think of wrestling its wwe first and tna second. ROH is usually 3rd.
