Recently, I have been watching a bunch of old WWF/E videos online and on the network as well and noticed that there were some wrestlers I still cheered for/like even though I am no longer a fan of them. So I would like to know what are some wrestlers or even tag teams in the WWE you were a fan of, but soon either grew out of or found someone new to replace them with.

For me, my former favorites were Too Cool, Rikishi, X-Pac, Hurrican Helms, and Test. Too Cool was my favorite tag team just because I liked their gimmick, even though it was corny as hell, I liked all the people involved including Rikishi, and generally, I always thought they were one of the most entertaining tag teams there was in WWF at the time being. Rikishi mainly because of him being a big dude and him always being either dominant or just hard to defeat, which as a fat kid, was fun to watch to me as well as him being over like rover. X-Pac was mainly because of him having a cool sounding name and being a great talent as well as watching him do the Bronco Buster was always funny to watch. Plus, he was/is one of the few who did a sitout facebuster and made it look good. Test mainly because of him reminding me of Kevin Nash and being one of the "big guys" at the time who could move and actually put on a good match. Finally, Hurricane Helms mainly because as a kid I loved really dumbed gimmicks like this and I thought he was the greatest thing ever since sliced bread.

I used to think Dolph Ziggler was good at wrestling, selling in particular.

I'll put it down as me being young and stupid. He knows how to wrestle but his matches are just dull and don't connect with me these days

Bayley. The main roster butchered any care I could have for her rather quickly.

He said "Former" Bayley is still with the WWE right now which makes her current. Former means somebody who isn't with the company anymore like CM Punk, Batista, Eddie Guerrero (due to his death in 2005) or Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Dolph Ziggler is a current WWE Superstar, a former star would mean somebody who was with the WWE in the past but doesn't work there anymore like Rikishi or Edge and Christian, Trish Stratus, Lita or Torrie Wilson.

Brock Lesnar is now a former favorite of mine, and it's all due to Suplex City. He know he is capable of more. Just seeing him do Germans and belly to bellys the whole match is so annoying and boring.

Hulk Hogan. I won't lie, Hulk Hogan was the reason I began watching wrestling. I was a kid when Hulk Hogan's Rock n Wrestling was a Saturday morning cartoon. I found the characters in the cartoon interesting and it made me want to watch wrestling. So I started looking for wrestling on TV and I came across three different shows: one from WWF, one from AWA and one from NWA. So I had access to the three at the time. But of course, being ten years old, I was drawn more to the WWF and their hero Hulk Hogan, who could never lose cleanly and was basically a super hero.

I remained a fan of Hogan for years, although watching NWA quickly made Ric Flair my favorite wrestler. But I stopped being a Hulk Hogan fan in 1993. He won the WWF championship from Yokozuna at Wrestlemania IX. When I found out that actually Bret Hart was supposed to retain the belt and Hogan basically told Vince he wouldn't do the show unless he could win the WWF Championship and Vince came up with that stupid angle where Yokozuna won and then put the belt on the line immediately against Hogan... that was the beginning of the end. Around this time, although internet was not a big thing, it became easier to get inside information and I began seeing what a dick face Hogan actually is.

I tried to like Hogan again but just the stupid nonsense that he did, such as coming back for a match with Randy Orton and beating Orton instead of having some balls and putting Orton over, plus going to TNA and claiming that he was the one who taught Vince McMahon how to run WWF and claimed he taught Vince McMahon, a long time bodybuilder, how to lift weights, I knew the guy had gone off the deep end. This coupled with his constant lying and the world of fricking make believe he lives on (plus I read his book, it was an interesting work of fiction), I have no real respect or liking for him anymore. If he comes back, I may cheer a LITTLE because of the nostalgia factor, I won't lie. But it Brock Lesnar F5s his ass, I might cheer a little louder.

I mean former as in you use to like them, but now you don't. I may have used a choice of wording.

The Bayley I enjoyed in NXT is not the Bayley we see on the main roster. Main roster Bayley is more sloppy and feels stripped of her character.

Okay I wasn't quite sure what you meant exactly by that, I thought you meant a wrestler you used to like that doesn't work for the WWE anymore. I'm sorry about that.
You alright, man. I have a bad time explaining things from time to time.

When I first got into WWE (six years old), my top 9/10 favorites (in order) were Kane, Eugene, Hurricane, Randy Orton, Duece & Domino, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, MVP, and Matt Hardy

Triple H and Big Show were a couple of my favorites before, since they were favorites of my uncle and he would always talk about them. Eventually I started liking my own set and style of wrestlers though.
