Despite turning on Team Impact as part of a recent angle with disgruntled former Ring of Honor wrestlers, Eddie Edwards has re-signed a new deal with Impact Wrestling.
The news was revealed by Sports Illustrated Wednesday, but the length of the contract wasn't disclosed.
Edwards joined the Honor No More ROH faction at last month's No Surrender as a former ROH roster member himself.
The 38-year-old has been affiliated with the company since January 2014 when he and then-teammate Davey Richards debuted for then-TNA, winning the tag titles a month later.
Edwards (Eric Maher) held the TNA World title once, defeating Bobby Lashley in October 2016. He held the gold through January 2017 when Lashley regained the belt in a 30-minute Iron Man match.
Edwards held the Impact World title for just under two months in the summer of 2020.
He is also a two-time X-Division Champion and a five-time Tag Team Champion -- all held during the TNA era.
Edwards, whose wife Alisha also wrestles for Impact, still works various indie shows.
