Anyone like Dr. Who?

I have been a fan of the show since I was a kid when Tom Baker stood in the Tardis and was all over the universe and time.

I have enjoyed the new seasons also preferring the David Tennant Dr. Who over all of them atm.

So what does everyone else think of the great Dr. or his traveling companions?

I love Tom Baker's run on the series. I actually prefer his over any others, though Peter Davison's short time in the role produced some of my favourite episodes.

I'd say the following are my favourite...

1. The Talons of Weng Chiang
2. Genesis of the Daleks
3. Horror of Fang Rock
4. Pyramids of Mars
5. The Caves of Androzani

My favourite companion of all was Leela because I love them warrior women characters and she was majorly hot. Sarah Jane would probably be second, though I was partial to Jo Grant as well.

The sad part is, I don't remember to many episodes from when i was younger but remember enjoying them. The only episode that comes to my mind when thinking about those Dr's is the one titled the 5 Dr.s where it had everyone who was the dr except for Tom Baker but they cut him into the show from old footage. He didn't want tot do another show.

I love them all .

I didn't mind The 5 Doctors but the story was pretty blah in comparison to some of the other ones made around the same time. Netflix has a bunch of the older ones so you can always check them out there. I went on a Torrent binge a couple of years ago and basically downloaded everything from the old serials. I also buy the DVD's for shows I really like, though I have to admit BBC are a little heavy with their prices. The Talons of Weng Chiang cost me $40.
