Who are some superstars/divas you think work better as the champion or as the challenger?

Challenger: Randy Orton - The most entertaining he has ever been was during the feud against the McMahons and HHH and he the hunter. His character just seems to fit better as being the guy doing the chasing.

Champion: CM Punk - He's just as entertaining either way but between his recent run as being champion and his feud with Jeff when he was world champion he just seems very fitting in champion role.

champion - beth phoenix - i just think the women's division needs a force of power and she is a good choice imo.

challenger - natalya - cut all the bff crap and bring some competition back to the division

Probably on my own here, but i'd love to see a program between Randy Orton as the WHC and Daniel Bryan as the chaser after cashing in his MITB briefcase.

It may not be a CM Punk / John Cena affair with an epic story and great promos, but I still think it could be a great story with a real defining moment. I think the matches could be great aswell and not just because it's Daniel Bryan either. I think Randy Orton gets a lot of unfair hate at times because in my honest opinion, he is miles better in the ring than who is compared to, which is John Cena.

As far as what I would like to see, i'd class it as a mix between the HHH/Jeff storyline in the sense of Bryan reaching for that brass ring and just falling short and the recent Christian/Orton storyline of Bryan working for more rematches. Have him start to look more legitimate going into Mania where he uses his match and has a very even match with Orton but comes up short, just like Christian did. Have Orton and T'Lo be impressed with Bryan and give him a second chance at the next PPV, where he once again comes up just short. Throughout the whole angle it would be a face/face deal, lots of putting each other over. I'd then have Bryan run into another angle where he's out to prove he's good enough. Instead of him winning a #1 contenders match, i'd have him prove himself by doing something along the lines of facing a former WWE/WHC every week for the next X amount of weeks. It'll add to his credibility by going over guys like Kane, Khali, Christian etc without really giving away any blockbuster PPV matches. Heck, you could pair him with Orton from time to time in tag matches just to keep that storyline fresh in peoples mind. The ultimate payoff would obviously come then when he beats Orton at whichever PPV it was coming up.

I really like the idea of Bryan proving himself in ways other than winning a top contender match, which is so cliche. I think Orton would be a great person to put Bryan over, because he is undoubtedly a great worker and I'm sure they'd mesh.

Ideally for me, Mark Henry holds the World Title into Wrestlemania and Daniel Bryan taps him out to get the strap. I can dream.
