I hate Byron Saxon.

I used to love ECW. When I watched, it was the best wrestling show on tv. Everything made sense and the show was very wrestling orientated. I LOVED LOVED LOVED it. Each week we'd get at least one great match. It peaked for me when Christian took on Jericho in that classic match. And it had the best commentator in the entire business today; Matt Striker.

Then Byron Saxon showed up. I tried to continue watching the show I so loved. After the 3rd or 2nd week, I had had enough and gave a big fuck you to Mr. Saxon. He completely ruins the show for me. I'm not one of those ppl who can watch the show on mute so I have to listen to his crap. Anyone else hate Saxon? If anyone likes him, please tell me why and share your opinions.

Personally when I first heard him he sounded like a white guy. Therefore I call him Mr. White.

Todd and Striker were the best team on ECW, but nothing will ever beat Mike Adamle.

It's not being fair comparing Saxon to Matt Striker because Striker is quite frankly on a league of his own.

Meh, he could be worse. I sometimes think he tries too much to imitate Matt Striker though

Personally JR/Striker would be quite awesome, but Todd Grisham is also THEE WIN, so, meh, either way is a hell of an announce team.

Matt Striker is so liked because he actually knows what the hell he's talking about. For all I know all the other announcers may know a shitload of wrestling, but Matt Striker is the only one who truly brings it forward on screen. Besides, lol, he's basically a smark caught in the kayfabe of the WWE

Saxton was a really good heel on the mic in FCW, so i'd imagine once they let him be a little more creative he will be better. He was a manager/wrestler in FCW too.

Well, there are a lot of blind marks out there.

Striker comes across as very knowledgeable with his moves, and creative with his nicknames on occasion. It also comes across as natural, unlike THE PROFESSOR Mike Tenay which feels so unbelievably fake cos he's a Blue dickhead.
