This will be my own version of Summerslam 2019. I will post each match in their own posts that describes each match in terms of buildup, what happens in the match, and the aftermath.

1. WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Drew Gulak (c) vs Oney Lorcan

Same Buildup and match as OTL.

Aftermath: Same as OTL. Gulak holds the title until the NXT USA Network premiere when he drops it to Lio Rush.

2. WWE Women's Tag Team Championships

Fire & Desire (C) vs. Kabuki Warriors

Buildup: My first change is that I have Fire & Desire win the belts at Mania 35, not the Iiconics. The Kabuki Warriors win the No.1 Contenders match to get the title shot.

Match: The champions put up a good defense, but the Kabuki Warriors win the titles pretty easily.

Aftermath: The Kabuki Warriors go on a "world tour" touring the titles on all four brands. They lose the titles at Mania 36 to Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez. As for Fire & Desire, this starts their breakup leading to a match at Wrestlemania between Deville and Rose.

3. WWE Intercontinental Championship

Shinsuke Nakamura (C) vs. Finn Balor

Buildup: Rematch from Extreme Rules. Not much more here.

Match: Great match as you would expect from these two. Shinsuke retains the title.

Aftermath: Shinsuke holds the title for a while until he drops it to Cesaro who goes on to face his old partner Sheamus at Wrestlemania. As for Nakamura and Balor, more on them later.

4. The Fiend vs. Broken Matt Hardy

Buildup: The Fiend starts attacking the Hardyz, among others. Matt goes Broken to try to stop him.

Match: Easy squash win to establish the Fiend. Nothing more.

Aftermath: The Fiend goes on a path of terror, though I would keep him away from the title picture. In fact, he's the one I would have retire the Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

5. Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon

Buildup: Same as OTL, though I move the ladder match from the Smackdown 20th Anniversary show to here.

Match: Same as the ladder match in OTL. Bye bye Shane.

Buildup: Owens would eventually challenge for the WWE Title in October, though he comes up short (Who too? More on that later.). This would lead to him facing longtime friendemy Sami Zayn at Wrestlemania.

6. WWE United States Championship

AJ Styles (C) vs Ricochet.

Buildup: Same as OTL. Styles won the belt at Extreme Rules. Ricochet wants it back.

Match: Same as OTL. Styles retains.

Aftermath: Styles holds the belt for a while, eventually dropping it to Rusev who defends against Aleister Black at Wrestlemania. As for Styles, he goes on to face fellow former Bullet Club leader Finn Balor at Wrestlemania.

7: Charlotte Flair vs Trish Stratus

Buildup: Same as OTL.

Match: Same as OTL.

Aftermath: Trish "retires" (though I could have her and Lita challenge the Kabuki Warriors at some point during their reign). As for Charlotte, more on her later.

8. WWE Championship

Kofi Kingston (C) vs Mustafa Ali.

Buildup: Kofi defeats Joe at Extreme Rules like in OTL... Only for Ali to attack him post match!! He would later cut a promo saying that Kick stole the spot that should have been his. He challenges Kofi to a title match at Summerslam and Kofi accepts.

Match: Ali fights really aggressively with Kofi all throughout this match, really leaning into his revenge driven persona. However, he eventually cheats to win by rolling up Kofi with a fistful of tights.

Aftermath: Ali holds the title until December when he drops it back to Kofi at TLC. Kofi holds the title till Mania when he drops it to Shinsuke Nakamura. As for Ali, more on him later.

9. Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan

Buildup: Same as OTL, just sped up so they can have a match here.

Match: It's what you'd expect from these two. However, before Roman can finish it, both he and Bryan are suddenly attacked by both Erick Rowan... And Luke Harper! The Bludgeon Brothers are back and were the ones who attacked Roman.

Aftermath: Bryan and Roman are forced to put aside their differences and eventually beat the Bludgeons in October (same match as OTL). Bryan eventually goes on to face Ali at Wrestlemania. As for Roman, I write him off TV in March so he can spend time with his family before he eventually goes on his heel run.

10. Undisputed WWE Women’s Championship

Becky Lynch (C) vs Bayley

Buildup: One major change is that I unify the two Women‘s titles at Mania 35. Bayley still wins MITB, as in OTL, but instead of cashing in on the same night, announces after Becky’s match at Extreme Rules against NikkI Cross that she will be cashing in at Summerslam. One thing to note is that, since losing the Women’s Tag Titles at Wrestlemania, Bayley has been acting a little… shall we say, strange. She’s been sometimes laughing, and sometimes talking to herself. Becky’s a little concerned about this, but Bayley assures her that she is fine.

Match: Great match as you would expect from these two. However, everything changes when Becky goes for a forearm.. and accidentally knocks out the ref!! Becky goes to check on the ref, but he is OUT. Becky turns around… AND BAYLEY NAILS HER WITH A LEAD PIPE!! Bayley nails Lynch with the pipe multiple times, all the while laughing like a maniac. Bayley nails the Rose Plant not once, not twice, but three times to win the title. Becky gets carried out while Bayley holds the title, laughing like an absolute psychopath.

Aftermath: As you can see, Bayley turns heel here, but instead of the Role Model gimmick, she turns into a complete maniac. She first defeats Charlotte in September, but post match, Bayley wraps a chair around Charlotte’s neck, but before she can do the worst, Becky (who hasn’t been seen since SummerSlam) returns to chase Bayley away. Becky challenges Bayley to a rematch in October in Hell in a Cell, but Bayley ends up retaining there. From there, we fast forward to Wrestlemania where Bayley defends against the Royal Rumble winner, none other than a returning Sasha Banks. Sasha blames herself for Bayley going insane and hopes there’s still some of her old friend in there. But Bayley is too far gone and ends up beating Sasha in a hellacious match. She ends up dropping the title at Summerslam to Rhea Ripley (who dropped the NXT Women’s Title to Io Shirai in April). As for Becky and Charlotte, Becky faces Shayna Baszler just like OTL (Except that Shayna actually, you know, wins), while Charlotte faces Beth Phoenix in a dream match.

10. WWE Universal Championship

Seth Rollins (C) vs Brock Lesnar

Buildup: Mostly the same as in OTL, except that Brock does NOT win MITB. Who does? More on that later.

Match: Same as OTL. However, post match, while Seth is celebrating, he’s attacked by three masked men who turn out to be… Humberto Carillo, Angel Garza, and Austin Theory!! Andrade (who won MITB) then comes out, revealing that those three are working with him. Andrade then cashes in to win the title, ending Summerslam 2019 on a shocking twist.

Aftermath: Andrade goes on a heel run with the title, eventually dropping the belt at WrestleMania 36 to Royal Rumble winner Drew Mcintyre. As for Seth, he eventually turns heel and forms his faction, going on to face the returning Edge at Wrestlemania. As for Brock, screw him.

That’s Summerslam 2019 done. One final thing I’m gonna share is my card for Wrestlemania 36. Obviously, COVID doesn’t happen, but the show is still split into two nights (You can put any match on either night, but I would have Bayley vs Sasha main event Night 1 with Andrade vs Drew main eventing Night 2). By the way, Gronk isn't hosting.

Men‘s and Women‘s Battle Royals

Kabuki Warriors vs Kai and Gonzalez

Sonya Deville vs Mandy Rose

Cesaro Vs Sheamus

Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn

AJ Styles vs Finn Balor

Rusev vs Aleister Black

Charlotte Flair vs Beth Phoenix

Becky Lynch vs Shayna Baszler

Daniel Bryan vs Mustafa Ali

Kofi Kingston vs Shinsuke Nakamura

Seth Rollins vs Edge

The Fiend vs The Undertaker

Bayley vs Sasha Banks

Andrade vs Drew Mcintyre

Quite the card, eh? And with that I am done. Let me know your thoughts in the comments down below. This is Ryan Kelman signing off, and until next time, you all take it easy.
