The guy who has knack for using power tools wreaks havoc on a slumber party of girls and uses anything at his disposal. Don’t sleep and don’t make enemies with those who just moved into town.

Freddy- Hands down one of the horror/slasher icons, hard to go against him.
Helena- Wolfman wasn't that scary, the original or the remake, and IMO a witch is just a bit more realistic which made me give helena the nod.
Pinhead- Hands down, Pinhead could give Freddy a run for his money on this list.
The Tall Man- A crazy fisherman can't handle that.
Headless Horseman- This was a tough choice for me being that Hannibal is not only one of my fav horror characters but one of my fav characters of all time. However in a mere fight standpoint you can't psychologically get into someones head if they literally don't have one.
Gingerbread Man- Gremlins isn't truly a horror movie and for the amount of them that there are, there body count is extremely low.
Leslie Vernon- Haven't seen behind the mask... but after watching the trailer I want to. American Psycho was good but just didn't seem as much of a horror movie to me as most.
Leprechaun- when I was younger that movie creeped me out and Slumber Party Massacre didn't

Here are my votes.

1. Freddy--my actual hands down favorite to win the whole thing. Just not sure though some stiff competition.

2. Wolfman--sorry he would eat that dead witch for a midnight snack.

3. Pinhead--my second favorite character and he is in the same bracket as Kruger. I want to smack my head off of the wall. Oh well.

4. Tall Man-- His toys were so much better than those of Ben Willis. Sorry Gordon's Fish man you are the weakest link.

5. Headless Horseman--- I love me some Lector, but feel old Heady would slash and gash him up then hit him with a pumpkin bomb.

6. Gremlins-- Love Gingy (especially the crazy as fuck Busey) but the Gremlins I think would eat old Gingy and then go to the bar afterwards.

7. Leslie Vernon--I don't care how much money you have. The crazier guy will always win.

8. Leprechaun-- Like the Driller Killer but going with the guy that makes you get a flashlight and turn it on and under your chin and yell I am the Leprechaun.

Freddy Krueger vs. Mary Lou

Freddy is an easy favourite to win the whole thing and there's no way Mary Lou is stopping him here.

The Wolfman vs. Helena Markos

While I appreciate the Wolfman in all his various forms, Helena Markos is a classic villain and one that deserves real attention from the voters here. The fact that she's in one of the greatest horror films of all time only helps her case.

Pinhead vs. The Tooth Fairy

Apologies for not realizing it was the character from Red Dragon (or Manhunter if you prefer) but there's still no chance he'd top Doug Bradley's Pinhead character. This is another villain that I think could do very well in the later rounds provided he gets there.

The Tall Man vs. Ben Willis

One of the most lopsided matchups as far as I'm concerned. I can see no argument being made for Willis to defeat Angus Scrimm's incredibly evil character. The Tall Man is truly one of the scariest villains in any horror series and the Phantasm movies are totally underrated.

Hannibal Lecter vs. The Headless Horseman

Hannibal is one of the most frightening characters ever created and the scariest part is that there are really people out there like him. The most effective killer is the most realistic, which puts him over the Horseman by a large margin.

Gremlins vs. Gingerdead Man

I love Gary Busey's work as the character, but there's no way I'm going against the most vicious beasties in this tournament. Gremlins IS a horror film and they are great villains. Besides, they'd probably be fed Gingerdead Man before midnight, so they win by default.

Patrick Bateman vs. Leslie Vernon

This is one of the easiest choices I've made so far. There is just no way I'd vote against Leslie Vernon, who is arguably one of the greatest modern horror characters, in favour of Christian Bale's Bateman character.

Leprechaun vs. The Driller Killer

I thought long and hard about this one. Oh who am I kidding? The Leprechaun is more funny than scary and the Driller Killer is a psychopathic murder machine. Bye bye Warwick Davis, stick to playing an Ewok or something else you're good at. And if you need further proof of the Leprechaun's inability to scare check this out...

Forget about what Freddy did in your nightmares. He was a kidnapping, murdering and molesting villain when he was alive. He could very easily win this all.

2. Helena Markos
The Wolf Man was the most sympathetic creature in Universal Monster movies history.

3. Pinhead
Ha, someone else has seen The Tooth Fairy? Pinhead relished in torturing people. He may have been summered, but that doesn't take away from how evil he was.

4. The Tall Man
Ben had a reason for his kills. The Tall Man was just a normal villain.

5. Hannibal Lecter
The Headless Horseman is hurt by the fact that we didn't know exactly who it was. I believe in Sleepy Hollow he was summered? It's hard to compare him against Hannibal the Cannibal.

6. Gingerdead Man
Like Freddy, he was a jerk when he was alive, he was a bigger one when he died. Gremlins were only bad if you didn't follow the rules.

7. Leslie Vernon
Vernon was actually a serial killer. What was Bateman? If all of his kills were a delusional, was he actually a bad guy?
