Austin Theory SHOULD cash in on the NXT Championship

Right now there seems to be almost zero opportunity for him to cash in successfully on Roman because of the booking of both parties involved. I can't lay fault at the door of HHH because even if Vince was still in charge I could see him being in the same limbo position albeit with more backing. It still seems like they're planning on doing Roman/Rock at Mania so unless they magically split the titles before then I can only see:​

• Cashing in and failing​
• Rock winning at WrestleMania then losing the titles super quickly via cash in perhaps the next night on Raw or in the following weeks.​
• Cashing in for the NXT Title like they teased.​

Personally I would really like to see them go the NXT route and somewhat rebuild him from there. Him and Bron, two future faces of the company starting their rivalry off down there before continuing it on the main roster years later would be pretty special too.

Yeah I wouldn't have any issues with it, he was called up pretty quick and the McMahon angle obviously is no more lmao I don't think HHH sees him as a world champion yet at all and this would be better than losing the briefcase or the cash in by far

I think he’d benefit from some more time in NXT, especially if it’s going to revert slightly back to how the black and gold brand was before. Theory could be the guy on NXT for a bit before moving back up to the main roster and showing that he would then be ready for it and to win the Universal title as he’d had the chance to improve.

Cashing in on the NXT Champion boosts that title’s image a bit as it’s eligible for the cash in treatment, whilst also giving Breakker an out by losing via cash-in, so he wouldn’t lose much from losing the belt that way.

That wasn't the only time, at summerslam he got fucked up and Roman punked him out on an episode of Raw or SmackDown lmao it's not hard to reconcile for me at all, he's a cowardly heel who would rather be the big fish in a small pond than continue failing in a big one, he's lost like 15 TV matches in a row

I wouldn't be mad if Theory cashed in on the NXT Championship, cash on Bron. It wouldn't make him a coward or afraid of Reigns at all. I remember back in 2007 to 2010 we had three brands. Raw, SD and ECW. You could cash in on any of the three brands and be okay. If Theory cashed in successfully on Bron than that frees Bron up for the main roster call up. Meanwhile, Theory gets to be king on his own show.

I was thinking too that Theory could align himself with Robert Stone & Von Wagner because I very much doubt Bron is losing to Von & Theory having a muscle and mouthpiece could be intresting. I also like the idea of Stone/Theory think they be a good pairing.

Part of me thinks it was to do with the competition on Tuesday where they had all the main roster people appear but since it was unannounced I don't see it lines up unless they thought the tease would carry over into more interest the next week or whatever
