Alexa Bliss is ready to return to WWE television and is just waiting on the call to come back.
Bliss, who hasn't appeared on WWE TV since February's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia, was recently approached for an interview by street journalist Adam Glyn outside of an airport. When asked when we can expect to see her back in the ring, Bliss said she's hoping to return to WWE TV soon.
"“Hopefully soon. I’m just waiting on the call," Bliss said.
Bliss said she's 100 percent healthy and has been ready to wrestle since before Elimination Chamber.
Bliss took time off following Extreme Rules last September to undergo sinus surgery. Leading into her return at Elimination Chamber, there were several weeks of "therapy" vignettes that culminated with Bliss getting a replica of her doll Lilly that contained the stuffing of the original doll. The doll had been destroyed by Charlotte Flair at Extreme Rules.
At Elimination Chamber, Bianca Belair defeated Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Doudrop, and Nikki A.S.H. in a number one contender's Elimination Chamber match. Belair went on to win the Raw Women's Championship from Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38.
Bliss and singer Ryan Cabrera got married at a ceremony in Palm Desert, California on April 9.
