AJ Styles ‘desperately’ wants to wrestle Edge

Styles said he would like to work with Edge:

“He’s so knowledgeable. He’s such a superstar. I would love to get the opportunity to get in the ring with him. There was that time when I thought there would never be an opportunity to wrestle him, and now, it’s here. The time is limited in which we can pull it off. Whether he or I retire first, who knows, but I want to get that match. I desperately want to get that match. I think it’s the one that most fans would enjoy.”

On if he talked to Edge about it:

“Yes. The feeling is mutual. We just have to make it happen.”

Just do it at WrestleMania please. Doesn't need to be some big story or feud, just have AJ win the US Title, put out an open challenge and have Edge accept it...for Mania.​

I need a spot where AJ goes to hit the Phenomenal Forearm, and it's turned into a spear, or I'll be very mad and say the match sucked no matter how great it was because they didn't give me the one thing I wanted, and I quit watching for 3 weeks.

That would be a good Wrestlemania slot for them both. A nice match which is big enough on name value alone without any added stakes, and you'd know they would both go all out too.
