Biography:
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Abram was funneled into the foster system at an early age. His early years were marked by constant conflict, a lack of guidance, and a struggle to establish an individual identity. After completing high school, Vance set out to mold a future for himself and attempted to pay his way through college by wrestling in local, independent federations. At the age of nineteen, the WWF offered him a contract, and Vance accepted, abandoning his education.
His career only grew from there as he quickly climbed the ranks, adored by fans for his no-nonsense, blunt demeanor. By the age of twenty four, Vance was an established upper, middle-card performer who had captured both the WWF Hardcore Championship and WWF Intercontinental Championship on multiple occasions. During his push for the WWF Championship, he racked up an unfortunate DUI, placing him in the public eye. His alcoholism and dabbling in drugs were highlighted by the media causing the WWF to request a stint in rehab. Vance, driven by ego, refused and was subsequently released on bad terms.
He disappeared from the mainstream until roughly the age of thirty five in which he engaged in a two year stint with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Despite being on the verge of capturing the TNA World Title, Vance mysteriously asked for his release. Since then, Abram has been working the independent scene and various odd jobs in order to scrape by.
Personality:
Friends and past wrestlers have described him as reserved yet cold, manipulative, and even somewhat sociopathic. Most say that his few positive characteristics, specifically a blunt, burning wit and an undying sense of motivation, faded shortly after his stint in prison.
His on-and-off girlfriend (started dating in their early twenties) and manager, Beki Rayce, described him as “a deluded, paranoid, controlling emotional mess who views himself as a strong, grounded loner” in an old interview with TNA, shortly after his signing.

Biography
Not much is known about Beki Rayce expect that she has managed Vance throughout his career, especially in the WWF and TNA. The two were once very close and according to various sources, near marrying until the controversy that ended Vance's WWF career. After Vance's departure, Rayce began wrestling for two years in the Women's division, supposedly using a romantic relationship with Shane McMahon to get the push, and capture the WWF Women's Championship on two occasions. Despite immense praise for her dare-devilish and hardcore in-ring work, she was hated by insiders and smarks for her backstage politics and willingness to betray long-time friend and fan favorite Abram Vance to get herself ahead.
Years later, she was brought in by TNA to keep Vance in line and play the role of heel valet until Vance asked for his release under suspicious circumstances. After Vance's release, she dabbled in the Knockout division before asking for her own release, feeling the company was "beneath her".
Throughout her career, Rayce has been praised for being a great heel manager on the mic' and for her willingness to get in the ring when necessary. However, a small minority of the internet wrestling community, despite enjoying her on-screen work, hate Rayce due to her history of backstage politics and her selfishness. Some have even suggested that Rayce was very involved and even the main influence behind Vance's WWF and TNA releases; however, various insiders and Vance himself have never confirmed this conspiracy.
Today, Rayce has returned to the wrestling world after ACW Owner Phoenix contacted her to "oversee" the returning Vance. Since her return, Rayce has worked her way up the ranks to become an ACW Stage Director, a position that entails preparing the stage for shows, overseeing backstage interviews and promos, and ensuring the show stays on schedule. On top of that, current ACW General Manager, John McHenry, has asked her to continue to 'oversee' Vance. Rayce is expected to become Vance's on-screen manager in the upcoming weeks.
