WWE has released Mark Canterbury (Henry Godwinn). Canterbury was largely hired due to Triple H going to bat for him. Prior to his release, Canterbury had been working in the WWE developmental system.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A 35-year-old is accused of burning her stepdaughter with an iron and using a stapler on her ear, according to a spokesman for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, who said deputies were informed of the alleged abuse when the 12-year-old victim told a stranger at a DMV office.

Duewa Lee was arrested around noon Wednesday and charged with 10 counts of endangering the life or health of a child, and one count of torture involving the 12-year-old, spokesman Jason Ramos told KCRA on Thursday.

Lee is the child's stepmother, and she beat the girl using her hands and feet, the Sheriff's Department said, adding that the abuse spanned several months.

The child was with Lee at the DMV when she told a stranger about what was happening to her, Ramos said. The DMV employee reported the girl's claims to the Sheriff's Department, and after a medical evaluation, the child was taken into protective custody, according to the spokesman.

After looking into the reports, authorities determined there was probable cause to arrest Lee, Ramos said. She is being held in the Sacramento County Jail
