Reviewing every WWE PPV in order from worst to best

I've blacked out so much of the WWE version of ECW that I don't remember Matt Hardy being champion.

The battle royal did have a few very random tag teams such as Chainz & Bradshaw and Flash Funk & Steve Blackman, but it also had a random pairing in the form of Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor in their first match as a team. It would be two weeks later on Shotgun that they would be officially...

That was actually The Mountie's TV debut and it would also be the last appearance of Dustin Rhodes in WWE until Goldust. I'm rather surprised at how long some of those undercard matches are. I would have expected like five minutes out of Bossman vs Barbarian and Mountie vs Koko. Funny how Sherri...

WWE put on two amazing Last Man Standing Matches in 2018 with Styles vs Nakamura and Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch. Then, of course WWE would totally fuck up Braun Strowman's cash-in with the pre-announced Hell in a Cell Match against champion Reigns and having Brock Lesnar interfere.

I think a lot of times people overrate or underrate matches after they watch them live. Sometimes you've got to watch it again later when you've let your emotions calm down before putting in an accurate rating and review.

In 1997, the Hart Foundation were babyfaces pretty much anywhere other than the U.S.

If I recall it was supposed to be Reigns vs Lesnar at Day 1 but Reigns got COVID and couldn't compete so they put Lesnar in the other title match. Which could be part of the reason why Edge vs Miz went 20 minutes because they had extra time to fill. I am 1000% behind you on your take on the...

Edge and Booker T's feud was because Edge got a Japanese shampoo commercial and Booker was jealous. I get a kick out of seeing the fan in the crowd with a sign "They're fighting over shampoo." Also, if I recall, when Christian was trying to escape with the Hardcore title he was about to get in...

That Rumble match clocks in at 38 minutes. Only 5 minutes longer than 1988's 20-man Rumble, Must have been 1-minute intervals for entrances.

The 1990s. When random heels would gang up on The Undertaker. There was the Buried Alive Match against Mankind and the Casket Match against Michaels. Of course when Undertaker came back his first feud was with the fake Undertaker, then he would go on to get his revenge with Yoko in another...

Owens and Ambrose would go on to have a really good Last Man Standing Match at the Royal Rumble the next month.

Vince was always so high on Corbin. I think part of the reason why he won this match was because they were setting him up to feud with Rollins for the Universal Championship. I do think it was a good idea to give the match and the win to someone who they were going to push, but Corbin was a bad...

I remember that as much as I was, and still am, a fan of Bayley, I was actually rooting for Morgan & Logan in that match. I felt like Bayley and Banks had already accomplished so much why not give some one else a chance.

I'd love to see a New Day vs Usos match as part of the New Day's celebration episode of Raw coming up. One of the greatest tag team rivalries of all time. Shinsuke Nakamura just highlights how WWE has failed Japanese wrestlers over the years. Starting with the evil Japanese villains (many of...

As I read this I am watching the Survivor Series from one month earlier. Drew McIntyre was being pushed big. He was Mr. McMahon's "Chosen One" which was kind of a kiss of death because look what that did for The New Breed and then later he, in a way, endorsed The Nexus by being attacked by them...

WWE also felt the need to give Undertaker and Heidenreich a rematch at Royal Rumble in a Casket Match. The Trish vs Lita match would lead to the main event of Raw in December and another match at New Year's Revolution in which Lita injured her knee and would be out of action for a year. The main...

Hard to believe that DOA vs Boricuas made the card but The Nation of Domination didn't. With the Austin vs Owen match, the officials couldn't stop it because of Austin had lost he would have to kiss Owen's ass. Can someone answer me this, though, was there ever a stipulation where Jim Neidhart...

With Buried Alive, Austin was supposed to face Savio Vega but for some reason Vega was out. He last wrestled a week before at a house show, and didn't wrestle again until Survivor Series. Goldust had a rare opportunity that night to walk out as double champion facing both Mero for the I-C title...
