yeah that's exactly what I suspected last night lol but then I thought of a theory where they try and recruit Jey bc he says no to Jimmy and that's why they attack and that's a little less dumb on solo's part -

also Jey told Jimmy no tonight lol that's a crucial part of my solo recruitment idea, that's his motive to do it. And obviously Jey will say no too but none of this booking hinges on Solo being smart lol -

I think they'll try to sell it as a preemptive strike against them bc they can see they wanted Jey but yeah it'll be the dumb villain thing where they do that and it's what inspires the guy to do it trope I'm thinking lol -
