  1. WWE General Discussion Thread

Re: WWE Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion Every time Rocky came out, he cut a promo on Cena. Hell, all of those Twitter mentions were a part of his promo on Mr. Cenation.
  2. WWE General Discussion Thread

Re: WWE Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion You're acting as if the Rock was the only one promoting Twitter. All the Rock was doing was the same thing the WWE was doing in virtually every other segment at that time. For all you know, the WWE told Rocky to pimp his Twitter.
  3. The Official Upcoming Wrestling DVDs Thread!

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread! Do me a favor and check out Mysterio vs Psychosis? Is the audio fucked up? Like, depending on which audio track you pick, you can't even hear the arena, ref, wrestlers or the bumps on the mat? Even the clearest audio is so faint? I ended up having to just watch the...
  4. Man in the Mask

I'd say you can trace it back further to late 2006 when Russo came back to the company. That whole feud with Sting, the disastrous NWA title run and Sting trying so hard to bring Abyss away from the darkness killed any mystique the character had.
  5. The Official Upcoming Wrestling DVDs Thread!

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread! Well...there is the nWo DVD itself. There's a lot of matches, interviews and other segments. The Nitro DVD had a lot of early nWo segments as well.
  6. PWG: DDT4 2013

They've always had a very rocky relationship in PWG. They came in together, but Steen quickly ditched Generico. That led to a big time war. Once Steen cooled off with his Super Dragon hatred, Steen and Generico were able to fix their issues. When Generico won the PWG World Title, tensions rose...
  7. PULSE's Worst Wrestlers in WWF/E History

    Jesus... :|
  8. PWG: DDT4 2013

More like they're not as over with Super Dragon as the crowd would like. They're in the middle of getting Cutler'ized.
  9. PULSE's Worst Wrestlers in WWF/E History

I'll pull an Inferno... Alberto Del Rio - No reason to even be considered Bull Buchanan - Sucked in the Truth Commission, but he was starting to show some skill in 2000. Jim Powers - Terrible tag/low card worker. Kenzo Suzuki - A surprisingly decent team with Rene Dupree, but the rest of...
  10. The Official Upcoming Wrestling DVDs Thread!

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread! So Bloodbath has one less reason to being bought.
  11. The Official Upcoming Wrestling DVDs Thread!

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread! So do the superior Hart Legacy and Starrcade DVD's.
  12. PULSE's Worst Wrestlers in WWF/E History

Big Zeke was actually pretty good prior to his injury and face turn. Darsow being one of the worst ever is a bit harsh, but he also had plenty of terrible time periods. Hillbilly Jim was decent at best. The fact that he was ranked worse than Cousin Junior should be a crime. Compared to Cousin...
  13. The Official Upcoming Wrestling DVDs Thread!

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread! It's okay. Being that it was from 2003, all of the clipped matches was a disappointment. The major downside is that all but a couple of the matches are on various other DVD's. Good DVD in '03, but not worth picking up in '12.
  14. PULSE's Worst Wrestlers in WWF/E History

Warrior was over though. By time Warrior received his monster push, the WWE desperately needed someone to take over the reins for Hogan. Look back at his three title reigns. It's not like he stunk up the joint. The World Title reign had the great match with Hogan, a couple of really good title...
  15. Man in the Mask

Man, Suicide was such a stupid idea. TNA was actually building Kazarian up nicely with the fans starting to accept him as something special. So what do they do? Kick him off of TV for a few months and then bring him back under a mask. The last 12 months of solid booking for Kaz was flushed down...
  16. PULSE's Worst Wrestlers in WWF/E History

That's part of my argument though. I believe Warrior had a grand total of 1 weekly match that was over 5 minutes long. You can't really have a bad squash match. His SNME matches were a mixed bag with some squashes, some good (Rick Rude) and a couple of bad. Then for PPV matches, I'd say he...
  17. PULSE's Worst Wrestlers in WWF/E History

See, you'd think that, but how many other WWE matches did Rick Rude have that were the quality of the Warrior matches? The Roddy Piper matches were awesome, but that's it. Rude's feuds with Paul Orndorff and Jake Roberts both produced a wide variety of shit. As for Savage, he may be great, but...
  18. PULSE's Worst Wrestlers in WWF/E History

Were any of the matches I named bad?
  19. PULSE's Worst Wrestlers in WWF/E History

The hate Warrior gets is ridiculous. Most of his matches were overly short. Yet, when Warrior was given a good amount of time, he often times had a great match: - Rick Rude - WM 5 - Rick Rude - Summerslam 1989 - Royal Rumble Match - 1990 - Hulk Hogan - WM 6 - Rick Rude - Summerslam 1990 - Randy...
  20. PULSE's Worst Wrestlers in WWF/E History

There were two King Kong Bundy's. There was the 80's one that had the awesome 5 count gimmick and became the biggest babyface in history (Well, for me at least) when he squashed Little Beaver. Then there was the mid 90's return Bundy that failed to recapture that magic he once had. I can't say I...
